
Dharma Talks by Ven. Lama Dudjom Dorjee
The Ven. Lama Dudjom Dorjee Rinpoche was born to a nomadic family in the mountains of eastern Tibet. He grew up in India as a refugee from the Communist invasion. He received the Acharya degree upon completion of 9 years of intensive study of Buddhadharma at Sanskrit University in Varanasi.
Lama D. Dorjee also accomplished the traditional three year secluded retreat of the Karma Kagyu order of Tibetan Buddhism. He did this under the guidance of H.E. Kalu Rinpoche and H.E Khyentse Rinpoche.
In 1981 the 16th Gyalwa Karmapa directed Lama D. Dorjee to be one of his representatives in the United States. Lama D. Dorjee is currently the resident teacher of Karma Thegsum Choling (KTC) Dallas, and also travels extensively to share his wisdom at numerous other Dharma centers.
