Starting his career as an Employment Counsellor, Marco Campana's work has spanned numerous non-profit sectors, including newcomer settlement, employment, information and referral and community-based Internet projects. Marco believes that technology is valuable when it is connected to our daily work and serves to enhance that work. Sam Dorman is a technology and management strategist who helps organizations broaden and deepen their constituent relationships using technology and the Internet. As a lead convener of the Web of Change conference, he is situated at the center of the movement focused on creating meaningful community and impact over the Internet. He is currently leading an initiative for the UN AIDS Commission in Geneva, developing a social network to break down barriers of access and knowledge at all levels of the extensive global HIV/AIDS effort. Sam brings a strategic and comprehensive approach to his work, together with strong creative vision and an understanding of diverse target audiences. Sam previously served as Managing Director of the League of Young Voters, a national youth political empowerment organization, where he also created and ran the organization's innovative online engagement programs. He also worked at MoveOn PAC during the 2004 election and as a trainer and facilitator for the Posse Foundation, an innovative scholarship program that helped develop powerful young leaders identified in non-traditional ways succeed at top-tier universities.

Lisa is an associate of the Social Innovation Generation program at MaRS. The program enables social entrepreneurs to access resources that help them combine economic profit with social purpose. As part of SiG@MaRS, Lisa launched Net Change, a weeklong event, co-created with several partners, which explores the intersection of social tech and social change. Lisa 19s activities range from strategy work to speaking engagements, most recently for CP24 and O 19Reilly 19s Ignite series. Previously, Lisa worked as an account executive at Toronto-based social marketing agency Manifest Communications, and prior to that had the pleasure of being employed at the J.W. McConnell Family Foundation over three years, while she was studying at McGill University. She graduated with Honors from McGill with a B.A in Cultural Studies and honed her tendency towards non-linearity with the mix of three minors: Art History, Environment and World Religions. Lisa is actively involved in the arts and the broader Toronto community, most recently with the Luminato Festival and Drawn to Develop, a fundraiser for Street Kids International. She has been on the planning committee for the Couchiching Institute on Public Affairs and the Youth Policy Alternatives Campaign. Meghan Warby is a Public Affairs and Digital Communications Senior Consultant. Working in both practices speaks to her interest in the growing 18eAdvocacy 19 movement, wherein digital tools, such as blogging, social networks, mobile platform applications and online campaigns, revolutionize previous definitions of lobbying and communications. She is a social media enthusiast, avid blogger, and active participant in the Twitter community. Meghan recently travelled across the US to interview 18pioneers 19 in eAdvocacy to discuss changes in communications since the 2004 American election. Her client work, which includes blogger relations, writing for web, strategic plans for government relations, monitoring and event execution, spans all H&K practice groups, including organizations such as Molson, Motorola, Shell, Dairy Farmers of Ontario, Certified Management Accountants and Intel. Prior to this position, Meghan worked at Queen 19s Park, in both opposition and government offices, through the Ontario Legislative Internship Programme. In both offices, Meghan prepared research, press releases, newspaper articles, briefing materials and speeches on a wide variety of subjects. In addition to her internship at the provincial legislature, Meghan interned at the federal level in Heritage Canada's Sound Recording department. Shortly thereafter, she applied her cultural policy experience to the music sector in Austin, Texas. Working as a program, fundraising and membership coordinator with the Austin Music Foundation, Meghan juggled public relations, event coordination, database and web site updates. Deanna Zandt - Digital U: Social Media & Social Change

Deanna Zandt is a media technologist and consultant to key progressive media organizations including AlterNet and Jim Hightower's Hightower Lowdown, and hosts TechGrrl Tips on GRITtv with Laura Flanders. She is the author of Share This! How You Will Change the World with Social Networking (forthcoming: Berrett-Koehler, May 2010). Zandt specializes in social media, and is a leading expert in women and technology. She works with groups to create and implement effective web strategies toward organizational goals of civic engagement and empowerment, and uses her background in linguistics, advertising, telecommunications and finance to complement her technical expertise. Craig Heintzman - Digital U: Social Media & Social Change

Craig joined the World Wide Web Foundation in July 2008 to help develop the initial financial and business operations. In 2009, he began building the foundation's development strategy and coordinating fundraising efforts. The World Wide Web Foundation is an international non-profit founded by web inventor, Tim Berners-Lee, that seeks to advance the Web and empower people. They received a generous pledge of $5m from the Knight Foundation to seed operations and are now building a diverse community of supporters while getting ready to launch publicly. Through the active management of focused programs, they aim to make the Web a viable option for the billions who are currently unable to derive value from it while ensuring that the Web as a whole remains safe from major threats. Their work will span multiple sectors, actors, regions, and demographics but will focus initially on developing countries given the unique needs of the people and the opportunities presented by the quick spread of mobile phones. Prior to joining the Web Foundation, Craig consulted startup technology-based companies on how to solicit and acquire equity financing from venture capital firms. In 2006, Craig interned as Business Development and Market Research Coordinator with energy management and consulting firm, Energy Advantage, where he was responsible for developing new services and presenting them to new and existing clients. Craig received a Bachelor of Commerce Degree with Honours and pursued a secondary degree in Philosophy from Queen's University in Canada. While in his final year, he was admitted into the Tricolour Venture Fund program and MBA course on Financing New Ventures. In between work engagements, Craig spent time travelling through over 30 countries across Africa, Asia, Europe, and Oceania.
