Dique We're All in This Together

Episode in Dique Chisme
Hola Chismosas, we are here LIVE and direct from the quarantine and apparently Ivy’s underground bunker? We talk “Scam Likely” activities going on the world wide net, whose circle did you join? Please say none. We bring you the latest update on the pandemic and new quarantine guidelines (17:40). Working from home has become the new normal, will it remain so post-quarantine? We sure hope so! (23:40). The first wave of Stimulus Checks/Payments have been sent to millions of Americans this past week. Many others are still waiting, WHAT WAS THE REASON (Cardi B’s voice)?!? We tell you why. (29:01). Trump’s lack of leadership during the pandemic has left states wondering what protocols they should take during this time to combat the spread of COVID-19. Some states have strict rules and guidelines in place and are seeing a rise of large groups of anti-quarantine protestors requesting quarantine to end (43:40). The housing problem in the United States, specifically in New York City is affecting the homeless people during this pandemic and putting them at risk (48:30). Let's be honest we’re all bored at home trying to stay sane, luckily for us entertainers have been on Instagram Live providing much needed entertainment. We give you a review of the latest Verzuz battle between Teddy Riley and Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds (1:00:22). Disney also entertained us this past week with their “The Disney Family Singalong” where they had many celebrities join to perform and sing Disney songs. If you missed it, we got you! (1:11:38). Global Citizens’ One World Together at Home brought many of our favorite artists to our screens to raise millions for Coronavirus relief. (1:18:23). Your favorite Chismosas let you know what we’ve been up to, how we’ve been feeling and how we’ve been adjusting to quarantine life (1:22:15). We also have an announcement be sure to listen until the end! Now you’re all caught up with the latest, continue supporting us and like always, until next time Chismosas! Dique Quarantine

Episode in Dique Chisme
Coming to you live from Quarantine 2020, your favorite Chismosas give you an update on what quarantine life has been like (3:36). While the COVID-19 pandemic has many “non-essential” workers working from home, financially many people are experiencing hardship (10:25). Dique Quarantine is a blessing in disguise. While many are feeling caged in their home, quarantine can actually give us the opportunity to practice self care, take a break, be productive, connect with friends and family and so much more (18:54). Realizing and processing the reality we are all experiencing takes time, “there’s levels to this shit!” (30:30). What’s really going on with the Stimulus Checks? Are you eligible for one? Let’s talk about ehhh (39:35). 45 is out here still being racist and xenophobic, we’d be lying if we said we were surprised. What we are surprised about is the government’s response to the pandemic (44:58). While the rest of us are bunkering down in our homes, celebrities happen to get their hands on COVID-19 tests before anyone else. What’s the trufff? (54:46). We send a quick shoutout to our leaders and essential workers who continue to do their jobs despite the late support from the federal government (57:50). Take Away: Stay home. Be safe.
