GOD is not the author of sickness. In fact, He sent the Lord Jesus to take our sins AND sicknesses away. What Jesus carried away, you need not carry again. Sometimes people are confused by the answer the Lord Jesus gave His disciples in John 9. His disciples had asked Him whether the blind man or his parents had sinned before he was born blind. The Lord's answer is clear: Neither has this man sinned, nor his parents. He went ahead to heal the man. Because of how the punctuations were placed in the English translations from the Greek of John 9, people assumed that Jesus was saying God intentionally got the man born blind so that God could turn around and heal him to get glory for Himself. Wouldn't that be wicked? That is not the nature of God. The Bible says God sent the Lord Jesus to heal, and destroy the works of the Devil. It was satan who made the people sick.
