Will and Donnie sit down to drink and discuss their newest Kickstarter fulfillment, Fantastic Factories. This is a board game ostensibly about factories, but are they REALLY fantastic?

Donnie is almost done with Army stuff, so it's time to start releasing episodes again! Donnie and Will's most recent obsession is the deckbuilding roguelike called Slay the Spire. It's Will's most-played single-player game ever (pushing 400 hours) and in this episode, they try to explain why it's so good.  We also want to formally apologize for this episode title. We're ashamed, too.

The creative duo behind Shadows of Adam (one of our favorite games from 2017) join us to chat about their favorite SNES-era RPGs. And make dick jokes? Par for the course, really. (There are some wonky audio issues on this one -- apologies!)

After a grueling day of board gaming, Donnie and Will sit down to babble middle-of-the-night thoughts about the beautifully frustrating and enthrallingly complex Through the Ages, by designer Vlaada Chvatil. There are a lot of rules. A lot. Of rules.

Donnie is flying solo this week (because Will was attending SmackDown... yes, seriously) and sits down to chat with Stephen Dewey, the creator/designer behind several RPG systems (you probably know him from Ten Candles). He has a new system hitting Kickstarter called Gather: Children of the Evertree and we've got a first look!
