Dungeon Matrix: A D&D Podcast

Dungeon Matrix is a D&D podcast where we use 4e to tell the story of Betania. A world that has been all but destroyed 560 years before we start. The High elves came together to preform an ascension ritual to bring themselves to a higher plane. This ritual has been names the Shattering by man as they seen the world torn apart. The aftermath of this ritual has almost killed all the dwarves, left all elves scattered to the outskirts of the region, and destroyed the landscape. The world is set at the entry into the age of man. The King Kalthar is being challenged by Tirus the eighth the son of his older brother. The realm took a vote 3 years back to keep Kalthar in power but the young prince feels that his right supersedes this vote as his family has held the throne for 12 generations. He has spent the last 3 years rallying support to overthrow the King and take back his birthright. Our adventurers find themselves all brought to the Silverclaw. A small bar in Middlebrook in search of a man names Gizno who offered them some information that they have been searching for over the years. This is where we begin.
