Yo. I’m Angela Parker.
I eat bacon, drink whiskey, skip spin + I’ve got a 6-pack.
Want to know why? I’m really friggin' happy.
Want to know how? One word — Balance.
Because I eat, drink, sweat, work & live in balance – I enjoy an insanely ABUNDANT LIFE that allows me to get paid to do what I love, be location independent, savor mind-blowing meals, sip vino in remote vineyards, collect new friends in bizarre places, and do it all in the body of my dreams.
And now – I want to disrupt what YOU think is healthy.
I want to inspire YOU to slow down, stop doing workouts you hate, start eating cheese & bacon, drink wines you never knew existed, explore new places… and completely redefine how to live your life.
Because I truly believe if I can have this life – so can you.

Episode 18: Nicole Sciacca, Chief Yoga Officer of Playlist Yoga, Hot Mom, #SurrenderinProgress

“Being a teacher is being the ultimate student.” — Nicole Sciacca We all like to think we have control over our lives. We choose our partners, fill our days, and crush our workouts thinking we’re managing life “correctly.” But if there is one thing Nicole Sciacca has learned, it is this: SURRENDER is SO MUCH BETTER. This bright, bubbly, and disarmingly authentic woman spends her days bringing light & laughter to her yoga students, all the while remembering that being the ultimate teacher is only achieved by being a perpetual student. After a severe injury in 2006, yoga made its way into Nicole’s life through necessity but quickly earned its place in this dancer’s heart. What originally seemed like her biggest roadblock ultimately introduced her to her greatest passion. Her yoga mat has become her mirror, a daily reflection of whatever “stuff” is going on inside. Through starting a business, a trying divorce, raising a child, losing love and finding it again, Nicole remains dedicated to her mantra, #Surrenderinprogress. If we let go, the future may not turn out the way we envisioned, but if we stop trying to micromanage our lives, the results can be so much sweeter. Chris & Brittany Hudgens, the Founders of the Colorado Meat Company

“There is no such thing as cheap food. Somebody pays for it in the end.” — Chris and Brittany Hudgens, Founders of Colorado Meat Company Partners in life, Chris & Brittany Hudgens are the Founders of the Colorado Meat Company. Aside from their adorable movie script love story, these two are changing how we eat meat. After losing a family member to illness, they both realized there was no time like the present to start doing some homework on where people source their meat. Strong advocates for the Slow Food Movement, Chris & Brittany are working to put a better product on everyone's plate. Colorado Meat Company has literally cut out the middle man, procuring their meat directly from local farmers, butchering it themselves (how awesome is that?) and selling FRESH meat to their community. In this powerful interview, they share their struggles and successes along the entrepreneurial path, what it’s like to drink bourbon with Thomas Keller, and the beautiful rewards that can come when you take that very first courageous step. Colorful language may be included. May not be suitable for little ears. QUESTION OF THE DAY: Do you know where your meat comes from? No, really. Want some whiskey to go with that meat? Episode 8: Stretch — Open Your Heart

“I can get a little protected and spicy.” —Angela Parker This episode features an expansive chest stretch that allows you open up your chest, shoulders, and neck—all in an effort to create more space across your heart. You’ll need at least one arm and a door frame. Are you outdoors? Use a tree! You might be thinking, How can I do a stretching series if I can’t SEE Angela? That’s a GREAT question! Perhaps you should ask the hundreds of clients all over the world who have already seen the RESULTS of these audio workouts and stretching series. I will use my voice to guide you through this body work. I’ll create a special space for you to let go, connect, and move. This will allow you to get some length in your body and space in your mind—all without staring at a screen, leaving your house, or paying a dollar. HEADS UP! I’m going to ask you to close your eyes. Episode 4: Stretch — Let the Tension Fall Away

“You literally cannot fuck this up if you listen to your body.” —Angela Parker This episode features a delicious back and hamstring stretch that requires very little room & no fancy gear. You might be thinking, “How can I do a stretching series if I can’t SEE Angela?” GREAT question! Perhaps you should ask the hundreds of clients all over the world who have FELT these audio workouts and stretching series. I’ll use my voice to guide you through this body work. I’ll create a special space for you to let go, connect, and move, allowing you to get some length in your body and space in your mind, all without staring at a screen, leaving your house, or paying a dollar. Heads up! I’m going to ask you to close your eyes while doing this series. Why? I believe that by shutting down one sense (sight), you heighten another (touch & hearing). By closing your eyes you can more easily tap into how your body FEELS. This stretch is for all ages, sizes, and fitness levels. Colorful language may be included. May not be suitable for little ears. DISCLAIMER: By listening to this podcast and participating in this workout you become fully accountable for your body and assume all liability. Please consult your doctor prior to participating in any exercise program. Please consume responsibly. QUESTION OF THE DAY: How did it feel to close your eyes during the workout? Now that your lengthened and juicy, how about we spice it up with some tricep push-ups? Come’on, it’s simpler than you think! Click HERE. Wanna find out the most important ingredient in cooking? Episode 2: Chef Tracy Saltzman: What Makes Food Taste Delicious

“I cook with my heart and it tastes really friggin’ good.” —Tracy Saltzman What makes food taste delicious? LOVE. On today’s show, private chef Tracy Saltzman delves into how she created a thriving business by drinking tequila, eating tacos and cooking with her heart. She began her culinary career at Nancy Silverton’s (2014 James Beard Award Winner) Campanile where she quickly learned that just being yourself is the key to living a life you love. Determined to create a career where she didn’t have to work in a restaurant, (a chef who doesn’t want to work in a restaurant? Weird!) Tracy launched Rhubarb, a full service catering company where she folded love into every dish she prepared. Now, a private chef and mother of two who makes her own hours, Tracy shares her struggles over raising young women in a world so focused on being skinny. She now defines “healthy” not by the number on the scale, but by the joy in her life. Enjoy my candid conversation with Tracy! Colorful language may be included. May not be suitable for little ears. QUESTION OF THE DAY: What is YOUR most epic meal?? Please let us know in the comments. Do you spend most of your day hunched over at a computer? Try THIS stretch! Any tension in your neck or back? Episode 1: START HERE. Seriously.

“I believe you can have the body of your dreams and live a life you love if you stop doing workouts you hate, eat more cheese, drink whisky, and put down your friggin' phone.” —Angela Parker As a fitness trainer and the founder of Body Inspired Fitness—the largest and longest running outdoor fitness program in Santa Monica, CA—I always thought you had to kill yourself in every workout and live in "food jail" to get a hot body. Then, on Saturday, May 12, 2012, my life changed forever. This epic experience (shared in this episode) not only changed how I eat, but it changed how I live, how I move, and what my body looks like. I realized that the only way to become truly healthy and look hot is to experience JOY as much as possible. And THAT is exactly why I created the Eat.Drink.Sweat. podcast. I want to disrupt what you think is healthy. I want to encourage you to slow down, stop doing workouts you hate, start eating cheese and bacon, drink wines you never knew existed, explore new places… and completely redefine how to live your life. JUST LIKE I DID. This podcast will be different all the time. Every episode will highlight and dig into one aspect of what makes a truly great life, week, day, or moment. It will offer interviews with chefs, winemakers, yogis, farmers, entrepreneurs, butchers, authors, cheesemakers, therapists, tech nerds, designers, productivity freaks, artists, and so much more. Through this podcast, I’ll release (for FREE) my popular audio workouts and audio stretching series, allowing you to get a crazy fit bod in very little time without staring at a screen, paying a dollar, or leaving your house. If you enjoy moving your body, do them! If you hate working out, skip ‘em! Plus, it will be here that I will share my stories, tips, tricks, research, philosophies, hacks, and inspiration on how to learn to define and live your own successful, serene, and delicious life. QUESTION OF THE DAY: What is a life-changing memory that propelled you towards epic change? Wanna learn how to create a thriving online business, all while living in Florence?
