Elly shares what FEELS like a BIG “secret”.  This is a more nuanced conversation about shame, sexual health, body image and beauty than you may ever have heard before. So is it ok if we explore different perspectives and stay open? Elly and V believe the shame around STIs really shouldn’t exist, as this just has people hide in the shadows where shame thrives. This candid share comes from the heart as a way to shed the shame and break the stigma around STIs/STDs, specifically HSV (“herpes”).  Herpes infections are very common.According to John Hopkins, 50 to 80 percent of (American) adults have HSV-1 and 1 in 6 has some form of genital herpes. The ladies share the stories of shame they carried, how they see it now and what they hope for those who have been or are on the same journey of shedding the sexual shame this virus often carries with it.  The ladies explore what may be a new perspective for you, that you could ACTUALLY leave a dis-ease in the past! Let’s reflect on 2024, shall we? The unconscious beliefs that have shown up and have now been left behind! Another strange start to this roller coaster ride of a podcast (we know you love it!) They then dive into the reality of how, when you’re on a personal development journey the “next level” can bring the “same devil”. For Elly, that's a new presentation of avoidance and self-sabotage. Elly shares she can see how much she hasn't yet done, especially in respect of having massive impact with her business and how exciting it is to see how much MORE reach and impact she can have. For V, that looks like stepping into the next level of her business, securing a high-level business coach and the next level of receiving someone who will match her energy and love ALL of her. In this, Elly reminds us to look at how far we have come AND look at how much potential is still available. This means we get to see all the things that are still possible and celebrate what has been achieved! The gals wanna know, “Why are people so addicted to suffering?” Do you know you don’t have to hang out there for so long? Elly and V are all juiced up over this one! Because they want you to know life gets to be so much more than survival and that you actually get to thrive!  What if your mind has been programmed to believe it should be harder and take longer, and you can actually do it FAST? Time for a new perspective on this one? That’s right, it doesn't have to take so long to heal! The mind creates your reality! So will you allow yourself to see it could be fast and easier than you have heard?  What if staying in your suffering is a CHOICE? (Unconsciously of course, unless you're consciously masochistic!?) The tools offered through the coaching these goddesses do can allow you to recreate a new reality NOW! The work is to stop dissociating, to feel and embody ALL of yourself. (Yup, that means feeling all the pain, to go THROUGH it!)  In this episode, V also shares how being so busy lately has had her forget to feel. Relate? And a reminder of how important nervous system tools truly are.  So, how do you suffer fast? The key is to look at your beliefs, because your beliefs create your experience. What are you BELIEVING about what is occurring? What if you chose the belief that it’s all happening THROUGH me and FOR me? Then you could go to the depths of the emotions, feel it, honour yourself when it comes up and anchor into your vision for the future to keep moving towards that, couldn’t you? No more hanging onto the memories of the past, wondering “What if?” instead focus the mind forward!  V and Elly equip you with these and many more beliefs to keep you moving forward. They also give you tips to focus on the depths of these emotions in your body. They remind you, it can feel easier to blame others instead of deal with it, though ultimately it’s a painful and disempowering place to live from. Elly encourages you to rizz yourself up and be your biggest cheerleader!  The ladies then share new ways you can look at and speak to yourself with deep compassion, speaking as: your highest self, an old lady, a loving parent or as your own best lover. These chickas are calling you out, so you can see if you may be addicted to suffering, and remind you to be here and now (present in the moment), as a way to get out of suffering from past pain or future anxiety. Elly and Veronica are back with another raw, heartfelt episode that digs deep into the delicate terrain of heartbreak and healing. Right from the start, they bring their signature humour, even as Elly bravely shares the bittersweet news that “The Guy” just wasn’t the guy. It’s a tough realisation, one that brings up tears, reflections, and a lot of insight.
