more musical expressionism…

in an effort to demystify music, i set off into garage band to twist and smash something into order.  i achieved sort of a half order, semi formed ideas…sketches really.  amateur at best, yet this experiment was more an act of freedom, of accepting my childish lack of refinement and experiencing creating music.  perhaps its a first step, perhaps its a pleasant diversion.  i hope the analytical hyperawareness of sound and music wears off…tv and film is already ruined by my constantly vivisecting brain.  to this point, i mostly feel an awareness of reverence for the creativity that makes music. sound is so omnipresent that its really taken for granted.  i am more aware now of the constant seeming expectation or need for narrative.  so of course, my interest in manufacturing narrative is dissolving.  stupid existential meandering
