Today's topic is a reminder to trust the lord with His timing for our lives. Even when discouragement sets in, we have to be strong and remind ourselves of the hope that is only found in Christ! Reference Scripture:  “Answer me when I call, O God of my righteousness! You have given me relief when I was in distress. Be gracious to me and hear my prayer! But know that the Lord has set apart the godly for himself; the Lord hears when I call to him. Be angry, and do not sin; ponder in your own hearts on your beds, and be silent. Selah Offer right sacrifices, and put your trust in the Lord. There are many who say, “Who will show us some good? Lift up the light of your face upon us, O Lord!” You have put more joy in my heart than they have when their grain and wine abound. In peace I will both lie down and sleep; for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭4‬:‭1‬, ‭3‬-‭8‬ ‭ESV‬

God has some amazing things in store for you, but you will not see them if you don't push past where you are. Your mind cannot be subject to your present circumstances, you have to renew your mind with the word of God and remind yourself of who you are in Him. Things will get better. Trust God and move forward in Him. Let's talk about it.

Aaron Macklin is the CEO of Macklin Media and the founder of the Christian Movement "8:28" which emphasizes the importance of Romans 8:28 and reminds believers everywhere that all things are working together for their good. In my experience, death, marriage, and motherhood all played a pivotal part in becoming the person I want to be. It just didn’t happen the way I expected. This left me wondering why I couldn't measure up to the person I used to be. In this conversation, I share the revelation God gave me about becoming someone new through HIm and allowing my experiences to make me and not break me.

I did something totally out of this world...something I never expected to do but here we are. I was sitting in the living room of my parent's home with my dad's mom, Lady Rochelle Wynn-Anderson and she was talking to me about her life. She was sharing things about her past, things that God has blessed her with, an exciting new workshop that she's going to teach, some insightful history about my family and so many other things. I sat and listened to her for a little under two hours when it dawned on me that this woman needed to be interviewed! After listening to her talk for a while I moved a little closer to her on the couch and said, "Grandma, I am going to interview you and record it for my podcast." She looked at me with such surprise and a bit of confusion, I laughed. I pulled up an old episode on my phone and showed her a clip so she could see how it'd go. After thinking it over for a moment she agreed and I pressed record. I must say that I am so incredibly excited for you to hear what she had to say about her life, marriage, advice for single women who want to be married, salvation and Christianity, family and LIFE in general. I'm so proud of my grandma and honored for this opportunity. She has such a pleasant voice to listen to. I hope you enjoy this!
