You get to follow what happens inside me during a meditation retreat in Malaysia. Sadness and insights, while trying to go after the source of suffering - my sense of self?

"Intention is important, but it is a thought. A wish is you." I have heard that I can be a wish-maker, that it is one of my gifts. But I am so distracted to it, generally by my mind. And what is a pure wish? Because I guess only when the wish is pure it will work for real, and only then that wish is me...

How common is it to believe that the best sexual experience is the highest there is to life? To value sex as the highest? I am studying into this and sharing my insights and learnings

Can privileges of the world actually be a curse? People telling someone that you are lucky and should be grateful ... for something that they decide is a privilege. Maybe that is not your truth.

Probably almost all of us have a voice inside the head that are telling us this and that. Almost as if we are carrying around some kind of authority, who at least in my case from time to time poisons my life and happiness. It seems like an outside authority telling me to do this and that, to behave like this and not like that, because the ides came from the outside. I was not born with this judging voice... But, what if the I, or the self, that I think I am, is the same as this imagined authority? What if my own mind is the imagined authority?

For many years my Master has spoken about the necessity to enter life fully, to go all in and give all of oneself to life. For the longest time this has been more or less painful to hear, since I kind of know I am not doing it. I am not living for real. There is more and I am dodging it, or trying to cheat it, or simply denying it. But ... is there a break through on the way?

Often we want to cling to life and deny death. This meditation embrace both simultaneously, to be in truth and love

Tillägnas pappa, som jag önskar allt gott nu när livet gå in i en återvändande fas. Vi använder först andningen för att komma ner i kroppen, ta befälet och bryta dess lathet och bekvämlighet. Därefter har vi modet att möta och kanske även transformera kroppens mer jobbiga känslor, i akt och mening att bli mer fria och sanna - då dessa känslor fanns där hela tiden, bara omedvetna.

Nu tog jag tag i det och spelade in en meditation tillägnad mamma. Lite utrensning genom andning, för att därefter gå igenom tre av våra sinnen och använda dem för vår meditation som syftar till att återfinna det varande som alltid finns där i bakgrunden - det varande som vi är.

Ett avsnitt om att hitta mellanvägen mellan alla våra val som går åt olika håll. Där mellanvägen kanske är ett uttryck för att hitta sig själv, det varande som finns bortom alla göranden och val. Det var länge sedan jag spelade in något för den här podden. Men så kom denna fråga från en lyssnare, och plötsligt fanns inspiration igen. Tack :)

En meditation inte för att göra dig trött och slö, utan för att gå till sängs,  och om möjligt även sova och vakna i ett uppåtgående flöde!

Under en dag blir vi lätt influerade av alla vi interagerar med. Därför kan det vara en god idé att regelbundet rensa systemet på främmande energier och komma tillbaka till en själv. 

Ulf Kilman är en av de mest fascinerande människor jag träffat, särskilt inom området hälsa. Min gissning och förhoppning är att han kan få Nobelpriset i medicin när den vetenskapen börjar släppa taget om gamla metoder. Ska vi gissa på år 2040?

Ett fint Far och Son samtal. Jag fick förmånen att även intervjua min far, den förde detta landshövdingen och moderatledaren, om vem han är och hur han ser på mig.

"Du är lite knäpp Erik", sa hon. Strax innan julen fick jag nöjet och privilegiet att intervjua min mamma om vem hon är och även hur hon ser på mig.

Yet another angle on the ego of Erik I am currently struggling with. It appears it is just a reflection of the experiences I desire to relive over and over. Just repeating the hunt for pleasures and avoiding pains. But if I understand this, perhaps I can stop the wheel of suffering?

What if the one I believe I am is a fraud. Meaning if I really look in the direction of where my identity is believed to be, instead of just assuming it is there, I will not find anything?

Det senaste dygnet har varit spännande och givande, kanske med ett genombrott! Det ledde till mitt livs morgonmeditation.
