ESOA Podcast 094 Lonerist

Episode in ESOA Podcast
Dear friends of contemporary electronic Music, Welcome to the ESOA Podcast. It’s sad to see how the world seems to be getting worse and worse. We should take a moment to reflect and appreciate how beautiful life is and I’d like to keep reminding you of that here with consistently great Music. After all, as we all know, Music helps to provide a positive counterbalance. And I can promise you right now that my guest today does just that with what I think is yet another wonderful and seemingly golden Dub Techno Set. His name is Lonerist and he hails from Scotland. Yet another artist whose active roots stretch all the way back to the 90s. He plays and produces everything from hip hop to deep house and electro, though he focuses very strongly on the dub techno genre. And that is precisely what he’s treating us to here today. His releases can be found on Labels such as Cold Tear, Crossfade Sounds, Piranha Siberia Dub, Verdant Recordings and Insectorama. He has already performed at major events and clubs such as ‘The Arches’ and ‘The Sub Club’ in Scotland, amongst others, and several of his dub sets can also be found on other techno podcasts. He is delighted to have been invited to the ESOA Podcast and to have such a long set time at his disposal here, allowing him to showcase his dub sound with its space and depth, featuring long transitions. Friends, here’s an exclusive for you: Lonerist on the ESOA Podcast 094. Have a great time. Episode in ESOA Podcast
Another episode of ESOA Podcast this week, so welcome. Just like life and the whole world, things are once again straightforward, technoid and impulsive. My guest in this episode is once again from London. His name is Sagaz and his sound is clearly forward-thinking, raw techno at its finest. He sees himself as deeply rooted in the London underground scene and draws inspiration from the groovy and hypnotic sounds of Amsterdam during his occasional trips there. ESOA Podcast 091 TAEBASCO

Episode in ESOA Podcast
Hello friends, and a peaceful and healthy New Year to you all. A new year is beginning, but we are continuing as usual. High quality, each and every artist anew. Always with an eye on the subculture, without any Tam Tam. This is also true of my guest today, Edmund Telasco, better known to many as TAEBASCO. He is a Mexican-Afro-Caribbean artist. Starting with performances at Munich locations such as Die Bank and Die Registratur Bar, he now lives in Barcelona. Edmond is artisticall and technically enthusiastic about music and sound. He is currently completing his electrical engineering training in the field of sound engineering. He closely follows the local scene in Barcelona and the artists associated with it, supporting them with a monthly podcast called ‘AMEBA’ on dublab.cat. His own focus is on techno from the late 90s and 2000s. He is currently also concentrating on his own music production. He describes his own sets as hybrid sets from CDJ and Vinyl with an aspiration to be an exclusively Vinyl DJ, which I would like to note here as a positive. Now look forward to a technoid and exclusive set from TAEBASCO. Here is ESOA Podcast 091. A happy new year, a wonderful time and thanks for listening. ESOA Podcast 088 DJ ARG

Episode in ESOA Podcast
Good evening dear friends of electronic music. My guest today looks back to 1989, when he and his brother created mixtapes in a style mix between rap and acid house, featuring artists such as Bomp the Bass, Adonis, Public Enemy and Ice T. But he was and still is no stranger to punk either. In 1993, everyone in Mainz was talking about Sven Väth and Omen in Frankfurt, which also captivated him and didn't let go until 1997. This led him to sell his beloved moped and buy two Technics players. At some point, he broke away and went in the wrong direction, away from music. Through a later girlfriend, who had two players at home, he returned to music and around 2005 he also began producing himself. However, by 2010 at the latest, he realised that the whole scene was not always honest and that the spirit that the original heroes had paved the way for had been lost. He speaks about what is happening today and now in a way that is not necessarily positive, but rather critical. I must point out here that he has produced a considerable number of productions and releases, especially in the acid genre. And that's why I'm all the more delighted that he has agreed to create a beautiful mix for the ESOA podcast. The whole thing is rather house-like with a tendency towards Chicago, a primordial seed of the house and techno scene. Look forward to this beautiful mix, ESOA Podcast 088 by DJ ARG or A.R.G.! Cheers Intro Track: DJ ARG - Dig it ! ESOA Podcast 086 Cancelore

Episode in ESOA Podcast
And here we go again, welcome to a new month and a new ESOA podcast. And no less musical quality. My guest today writes that in his youth he rummaged through his father's jazz and bossa nova record collection or drew inspiration from his mother, who came with Harry Belafonte. As he got older, however, he became more interested in funk, hip-hop and punk'n'roll, so his love of music covers a pretty wide range. And then came Homework, which marked a turning point towards house and techno. Fun fact: Homework was also the first record I ever bought. He started producing himself and eventually got into DJing. His love of music is still unbroken today, and his sets currently contain a touch of jazz and a lot of house music. For us, he has prepared a beautiful technoid set somewhere between Detroit and Berlin. Friends, here is ESOA Podcast 86 by Cancelore. Once again, enjoy listening, liking and sharing. Have a great time. ESOA Podcast 085 A dreams A

Episode in ESOA Podcast
Hi guys in a seemingly sick world, it's always good to think of better times, whether it's the future or the past, so Welcome to another Peaceful Edition of the ESOA Podcast. With regard to today's guest, I choose the past and focus here on the nineties, a time when the world was filled with a good deal more respect. It was during this time, a good 30 years ago, that A dreams A, that's Diana and Kai, started producing. A very unique, extremely acid-heavy and, in my opinion, formative sound. I discovered them on a ‘Stunde Null’ episode on Radio NRJ. I was immediately blown away by their sound. And the nice thing is that they are still active. They have countless releases today. So I'm delighted to be able to share this sound with you today. A live performance, recorded at the UWE Festival, as part of the European City of Culture Chemnitz. They don't have to prove anything, because what you've always heard is innovatively produced down to the last detail and made with a lot of love for music. Look forward to what's coming, here is ESOA Podcast 085 from A dreams A. I say thank you. Peace and freedom for ALL on this planet. ESOA Podcast 082 Pro Techno Team

Episode in ESOA Podcast
Hello Dear Friends of Contemporary electronic Music, Once again I say hello and welcome to the ESOA podcast. It was sometime in the Summer of 1997 when I was holding a flyer in one Hand and the Phone in the other - luckily for us, Smartphones didn't exist back then, so it was a nice and simple but well-functioning world - when a voice called out ‘This is Ralph’, the co-organiser of the first planned Future Parade in Chemnitz. Better known to many as DJ Saxxon and as the organiser of legendary events such as Acid Inferno, Hakke Inferno or Earquake. He has also been a guest here in the podcast with the number 44. We arranged to meet at a small art fair and festival that was taking place that day. I was allowed to spin a few records and it quickly became clear that we were somehow aiming in the same musical direction, somewhere in the techno and acid area. At the time, we both focussed on names like Robert Armani or Misjah in our sets. We both played at the aforementioned Future Parade and in the near future we met up in the rehearsal room for afternoons together at the legendary Kunstfabrik Glösa in Chemnitz As a result, we were often part of the DJ team in Clubs such as Achtermai, Brixen, Triebwerk and Seilfabrik between 1998 and 2005 under the name Pro Techno Team. The nice thing is that we never let the sometimes adverse conditions in terms of miserable technology spoil our mood. We both still enjoy DJing today and who knows, maybe one day in the near future we'll get back to those old days together and enjoy all the Juhuu yells from back then. Enough of the words, here is ESOA Podcast number 082 with the Pro Techno Team for 4 hours. Have fun and Switch all up ! to the Future of good Original Techno Music. ESOA Podcast 080 M.R.K.R

Episode in ESOA Podcast
Hello friends of classical electronic music, welcome to ESOA podcast number 80 this month, with M.R.K.R. as our guest. M.R.K.R. began his musical journey in the Amiga mod scene, where he adopted his Artist name, which later evolved into its current form. He had his first gigs at Zoom, a central venue of the Chemnitz techno scene, where he came into contact with Saxxon, which led to gigs at the Kunstfabrik. He joined the group 36dx and performed at illegal parties until he finally ended up at the renowned club Achtermai. At Achtermai, M.R.K.R. worked on projects such as the K.I. project. However, he decided to perform solo again. This allowed him to fulfil his desire to follow his own creative path. After a long creative break, he returned to the electronic music scene in 2023 with the release of Acid Inferno 2k23. Remastered tracks from 1999 and three new releases followed in 2024. Further projects are already planned for 2025. His clear goal: to make music that leaves a mark without submitting to the compromises of a ‘brand’. His roots in the Chemnitz scene, especially the club culture of the 90s, have left a lasting impression on him and are reflected in his work. Friends, enjoy ESOA podcast number 80 exclusively from M.R.K.R.. ESOA Podcast 076 Clemens Acidus

Episode in ESOA Podcast
Friends, welcome to the next edition of the ESOA Podcast. With my guest today, the name definitely says it all, especially when it comes to his musical contribution to us. But this should not be seen as a monologue, because his roots and his spectrum are definitely wider and more broadly structured. His roots are located somewhere in the area of Depeche Mode and Anne Clark. As far as his own work is concerned, it can't be pigeonholed. On the surface you might think he's all about techno, acid, electronica or drum & bass, but in depth he experiments with software or hardware in both the old school and the future. From danceable hard, industrial to playful electro and ambient. He is a Musician, Producer, Liveact and DJ. Comes also from Dresden like my Guest before. Fortunately, he fulfils my wish with a classic acid set for us here. Friends, look forward to the next two hours of the finest acid sound. Here is ESOA Podcast 076 by Clemens Acidus. Have a great time with it. ESOA Podcast 075 Clark B

Episode in ESOA Podcast
Guys, welcome back here on ESOA Podcast. My guest this week lives in Dresden, is a DJ, is a producer and for me is clearly behind the legendary club ‘Strasse E’ to which even DJ Rush dedicated his own track at some point. So my guest today is Clark B. He started out in the early 90s as DJ X somewhere in the hardcore and gabba scene, but later changed his mind and discovered trance and techno for himself. At the end of the 90s, he came to house music, a clear change in musical style at the latest. As a result, he specialised somewhere around house and techno and changed his name from then on to ‘Clark B’, which he still uses today. Some people, like me, remember events at the legendary Club Strasse E with names like Claude Young, Alan Oldham or DJ Rush. Clark B was behind all of these from 1999 to 2004. He has remained true to the sound to this day and was therefore prepared to record an exclusive and classic mix for us here: Friends here is ESOA Podcast 075 by Clark B. Have a great time. Cheers Infos about Clark B: https://www.facebook.com/ClarkBofficial/?locale=de_DE https://www.tiktok.com/@clark_b_live?_t=8pCE65HduQy&_r=1 https://open.spotify.com/intl-de/artist/57hgJ1AezPgb6ol1dCdiXu https://www.beatport.com/artist/clark-b/402886?srsltid=AfmBOooxd4f5NmptQw9aCOJWd4Y1t4SbNoIFlAa0dzwAfg929ivKAKmx https://soundcloud.com/clark-b
