Mayday Catastrofes aereas son una serie de documentales producidos por la canadiense cineflix y emitida por national geographic acerca de accidentes aéreos, fuegos en aviones, secuestros aéreos, bombas y todo lo relacionado con desastres y crisis aeronaúticas. Investiga en los eventos que desembocaron en cada crisis o desastre y las causas basadas en las investigaciones oficiales asi como las medidas que los investigadores aconsejan para evitar accidentes similares. Los documentales también cuentan con estrevistas con los investigadores asi como testimonios de testigos o personas afectadas, imagenes y simulaciones generadas por ordenador asi como con las grabaciones originales de las comunicaciones de los aviones siniestrados para la reconstrucción de los eventos.
