EVERYBODY WANTS TO JOIN THE fleaBITE BAND

fleaBITE wants to start a new insect band. He travels round New Zealand (via dog) with his musical sidekicks The Fabulous Fleamales.
At each small town, fleaBITE interviews an insect musician keen to get their musical careers started before their life cycle ends.

Over 13 episodes we introduce 13 eccentric insect characters and their instrument of choice.
We also give kids an insight into species we usually regard with fear or disgust.
Is a dust mite eating skin flakes really so different from us eating corn flakes?
Have cicadas really been percussionists for millions of years?

fleaBITE already has a following in NZ, Australia and the USA for our quirky, award-winning kids’ music and animated clips.
EVERYBODY WANTS TO JOIN THE FLEABITE BAND takes fleaBITE’s music in a whole new direction while retaining our trademark cheeky humour.

Made with help from Creative NZ.
