Explore the Trades

In episode 2 of Explore the Trades we learn about plumbing. We start with learning about the local union plumbing apprenticeship program. We then speak to two plumbers, one an apprentice with the local union plumbing program and the second a professional with decades of work experience who owns their own company and hires and trains apprentice plumbers to become journey plumbers. 

From just past high school to completing apprenticeship and becoming a journey person, we explore the trade of Commercial HVAC Service Technicians. They work in commercial spaces (think schools, hospitals, manufacturing and other large buildings) where they install and repair heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment.
