Roger talks to Kieran about how his experience of acquired brain injury has curtailed his travels and driving in particular but not his love for books and reading. Roger's father advised him that reading would sharpen his brain and it has certainly sustained him during difficult times. He advises us to take each day as it comes and to never give up.

She encourages people to overcome difficulties in their lives by just giving things a go even if the obstacles seem insurmountable. She advises her listeners not to be afraid. She says "Just do it. If I can do it, anyone can".
