I cannot by my own reason or strength believe in Jesus Christ and no one can! But the Holy Spirit calls us by the Gospel, give us the gifts that Jesus won for us and even more. This sermon explores the thirst that the Holy Spirit creates in a person that only can be satisfied by Jesus.

What is the goal of a daily devotion? Simply, it is to meet Christ in his Word. We are spending time with God, not dissecting his Word but listening to what he has to say to us.

Prayer is listening. How do you know you aren't talking to yourself? God is already speaking in his Word.
