Welcome to the 2022 novel released in October.  For anyone who can't get to my national tour events, here's some of the inspiration behind the story.

Travel back four decades with Liz, when she was young, carefree, single and trapped in a car at a set of traffic lights that just wouldn't turn green fast enough.

Another wardrobe disaster, this time with Cheryl who takes us back to a time when bodysuits were the hot garment and a woeful tale of a corporate bonding exercise. 

As many of my audience know I seem to suffer more than my fair share of wardrobe mishaps and from stages around Australia I've been sharing my underwear dramas in particular over the years.  Now it's the time of you, dear reader, to share your tales of inelegance.  None of my wardrobe guests are using professional equipment so please forgive the sound quality but more importantly, none are used to airing their secrets and are not nearly as ready to share their pain as I am.  So please remember these are reluctant heroes who have come through their hideous theatrics and are brave enough to let me rummage around in their wardrobes catastrophes.  

Following requests from readers who ask how I manage to cram so much into my life and always seem so happily busy, here's my secret.  

More unscripted, unrehearsed rambling about a topic close to my heart and following the request from a reader for a piece on perfume.  A novel called The Perfumer's Secret re-awakened my pleasure and urged me to go public on my pleasant pastime and 47 year passion for perfume.

Thinking small to avoid the big stuff plus the best and worst of us....and what has happened in my underwear drawer.

My journey to become a writer and adjusting to working full time from home.

Hello all, I'm Fiona McIntosh, an Australian novelist, and concerned for all my readers who are no doubt feeling cut off and at times bored during this coronavirus isolation that we're all observing. I've decided to do this unscripted podcast as a means to stay in touch with my audience and while it will not be all about books or reading, this first one talks about the research behind my most recent release, The Diamond Hunter.
