29 | Jonathan Hertilus: Coaching Personal Trainers Through His YouTube Channel

Jonathan Hertilus is best known online and on YouTube by his nickname, "Jonathan Fitpro".  By his own account, Jonathan is simply a passionate fitness professional looking to help other trainers short cut the path to success. But what really makes Jonathan special is the fact that in spite of his formal education from Rutgers University and a background in the banking world, he still consciously decided to make a career as a personal trainer.  Within the first few minutes of this inspiring interview, you will get the sense, as did I, that Jonathan is an extremely bright guy with a fresh outlook on the fitness business side of things. Besides owning and operating his own fitness bootcamp, Jonathan spends his time studying and teaching other trainers how to successfully run and market their businesses, by providing tutorial videos on his popular YouTube Channel, The Advice For Personal Trainers channel. Jonathan is a quiet storm that is just now starting to make a splash in the fitness industry and I hope you'll enjoy this episode and learn as much from him as I did!   In this episode, Jonathan and I also discuss:   Jonathan's background as a football player on the Rutgers College team and how he started his professional life as a banker before getting his first  gig in a gym Why he decided to choose a seemingly difficult career as a persona trainer over that of a banker Why the corporate world is designed to kill your entrepreneurial spirit How to cope with disappointing business results Seeming an opportunity to learn and improve in every situation Why we all need to stop hoarding what we know How teaching is the best method to learn as well And much, much more   Links:  Jonathanfitpro.com Jonathan's YouTube Channel
