Red Pills and Purist Anarchism – AR 49
Episode in
Freedom Talk Media
Today on Anarchy Roundtable we discuss Trump’s first day as president. The first half of discussion focuses on the mass illusion that many people hold particularly in regards to how rituals and clothing are somehow “transfers of power” and “legitimacy of authority”. The discussion moves into Max Stirner and the “spookiness” of ideas which are very present in the great anarchism debate.
Changing gears the show moves onto the Ray’s contribution with the Michigan Peace and Liberty Fest and his origin story on how he came to liberty. This leads into further discussion of the Alt-Right and how it operates within left/right paradigm.
As always thanks for watching and enjoy the show.

Today on Anarchy Roundtable we celebrate the holidays, except Danny who expresses a “bah humbug” attitude. The first topic of the day is about how North Carolina has demonstrated itself to be the worst state in practicing democracy. It’s so bad at democracy that it falls inline more with dictatorships than actual democracies or republics. This discussion leads itself into how to convert statists to the freedom movement. Joe brings up how the liberty movement is growing exponentially and how libertarianism is gaining ground but Danny also argues that the rise in popularity of libertarianism is also leading to fractures within the community and how the unification of anarchists from all schools are unable to organize in any fashion that is meaningful. During the show we also get into guns and talk a bit about open borders vs. closed borders and practical anarchism vs abstract anarchism.

Pit Kittens and Conspiracy –Katie Joins The Show AR Ep 39
Episode in
Freedom Talk Media
Armpit hair is taking the world by storm. It seems to be popular inside the anarchy movement but it also has been trendy outside. We discuss why that might be and our thoughts on it.
Katie is very much an advocate for conspiracy theories and she wanted to come on the show to discuss some. Many of them are true. Of course conversations on this can go on forever because many. We discuss some of the popular theories, such as those for 9/11, Chemtrails, and Flat Earth. What about the faith people have in their pet theories? We debate the merits of a few theories but we all has a great distrust for the government.
Of course these are just the topic seeds to a wide discussion of all topics–freedom.

Anarchist Lawyer – Anarchy Round Table: Episode 38
Episode in
Freedom Talk Media
Today we are joined by Randy England, an anarchist lawyer and author of the book “Free is beautiful”. He also runs a website freeisbeautiful.net.
This is a special episode as it takes place at the Mid-West Peace and Liberty Fest 4 (2016).
We begin the show as is typical with shots, but we are joined in our copious drinking by fellow anarchists including the infamous Shane Radliff of Liberty Under Attack. Thanks guys!
As the show begins we start off with the topic of how Randy became an anarchist lawyer. Originally sworn in 26 years ago and having to renew every year he began to question the oath he originally had sworn to. Starting off as Reagan admirer because of Reagan’s supposed libertarian-esque ideas but still had difficulty computing what freedom actually is.
Graduating college in 1990 as lawyer he began his career as a prosecutor, which later only cultivate his path to libertarianism in that he discovered how much the justice system is actually a rigged system. He initially started off prosecuting drug related offenses and other victimless crimes but would eventually move into more serious offenses such as murder and theft. It should be noted Randy does express and feel constant regret for sending away people who committed victimless offenses.
From here Randy discusses how undercover police would spend enormous amounts of time and resources just to capture and jail a few people who were committing victimless crimes all to send a short-lived message to the nearby black market. After some time of this Randy began to be disillusioned and sought a way out of his role in prosecution and moved onto work as a criminal defense lawyer in 2007.
The discussion moves into plea bargains and the necessity of them within the legal system and how the mechanics of discovery work. Randy continues on with how plea bargaining is more often pursued than should be and how during his prosecutor days that he would try and avoid using plea bargaining.
Randy further discusses that despite being a libertarian that he is unable to push a libertarian agenda while operating in the court room. This leads to talk about sovereign citizens and their attempts to try dismiss the legitimacy of of the court system or laws.
As the show moves along the topic of Randy’s book “Free is Beautiful” which his attempt to reconcile catholicism and libertarianism – which is controversial because many libertarians are agnostic or atheistic.
Joe interrupts the discussion with an advertisement for some vendors at the fest for salsa and jam.
Danny then asks about the jury selection process and if it targets the dumb. Randy answers with how jury selection is done and how the process is designed to try and weed out prejudice people before trial.
Following Randy’s jury selection discussion an audience member inquires about jury nullification and its effectiveness – which is only applicable in criminal cases not civil courses. Following another question from the audience Randy states in a theoretical sense if jury nullification became a movement then it could be used as a means to rid ourselves of various laws.
The topic changes to how the language and imagery of the court system tends to lend itself to the notion of authority and people’s beliefs in it.
Finally, the show closes out with the merits of the sovereign citizen movement, legalese, and legal jargon, and how stateless law would still be necessary.
Thanks for watching and as always taxation is theft!

A Dangerous History Discussion with CJ. MPLFest AR EP 36
Episode in
Freedom Talk Media
We are at The Midwest Peace and Liberty Fest and CJ from The Dangerous History Podcast has joined for a discussion of him, his show, and history. We try a bit of a fumbling start by polling the audience for a topic seed but, stick around, things get going quite well, after that. We’ve never had such an audience before, so it was something new to try.
We have discussions on SJWs, Mission creep, and why is it that we all know of the War of the Roses?
A renegade history of the United States.
At some point during the podcast, Joe gets up and disappears behind the camera. What is happening is, there is a butane stove with a dutch oven with a chuck roast in it, that went out. This was a totally awesome learning experience, that was written about on rationalpreparedness.com. The article even includes this moment.
Joe mentioned doing a YouTube video about cops pulling people over and taking someone into custody. Above is that video. It was shot in 2012. I wasn’t quite an anarchist at that point, but you can tell that I was on my way.

Platitudes, Rhetoric, Economy – Anarchy Roundtable: Episode 34
Episode in
Freedom Talk Media
http://freedomtalkmedia.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/Platitudes-Anarchy-Roundtable-33.mp3
Welcome to another show of Anarchy Roundtable. Today we are discussing platitudes, rhetoric, and the economy.
Joe and Mike start off the show with a newspaper article titled “Trump will put America first”. As Joe asks “What does that even mean?” and this can be compared to Bush’s “a thousand points of light” speech. Jacques takes communication, rhetoric, is often an effective and useful tactic to spread a message to get people inspired or motivated. Joe makes a point “every person put their own value” which is why rhetoric and platitudes are effective forms of communication, but Danny is quick to dismiss this as “trite sayings” as per the definition of platitude.
The topic begins to moreover a bit into the realm of politics with Hillary becoming the main source of discussion. Danny brings up the recent news of the FBI and DOJ openly admitting that criminal charges will no longer be pursued for Hillary Clinton’s recent illegal email activity. It has been made pretty clear that Hillary Clinton is guilty as sin, but because of the current election cycle the Democratic party “need” a presidential candidate to race against Trump.
As Danny continues to drill in about this, he laments that it has become so utterly explicit that government is abusing it’s powers and openly violating its own laws. As Jacques points out is that “perceived rule of law” is breaking down, which could be beneficial for the libertarian movement. Danny discussion that the “illusion” is breaking down and is confused by how normal people are still failing to understand that none of this necessary and in fact just plain damaging.
Danny reals it back in to the common platitude like question by statists “who will build the roads?“. Jacques leads the discussion how taxes are direct theft and Joe describes why taxes are actually theft.
Jacques makes some interesting points in how the average man perceives taxes as 1. “Socially equitable” and 2. “Necessary”. Which in a sense he is correct, the common citizen does believe this of taxation. Following this he discusses the idea that may be what gets people curious about “Taxes are theft” meme is not such much the idea, but the brash and direct language.
Mike misquotes Bush Sr. “A kinder, gentler nation” whatever the hell that means.
The discussion moves toward taxation, government spending, government fees, and manipulation. Danny then discusses how at his job he had to regularly interact with the government and how the company is perpetually screwed by the government. This leads into how the weaken the government by charging it exuberant prices and Danny refutes this by referring to the notion that government can never be drained. This becomes a drawn out discussion on whether the Fed can or cannot print indefinitely and how hyperinflation still has not occurred despite Libertarians have making this hyperinflation argument for several decades.
Joe finally takes the reigns and describes in detail how the Fed actually creates money. This leads to a rather long discussion on Bitcoin, acceptance of US currency, velocity of money, hyperinflation, and the petrodollar.
Finally, we move back to platitudes, rhetoric, and “a thousand point of light” where Jacques more or less brings the show to an end with a suggestion and discussion that maybe the Libertarian movement could use more rhetoric, platitudes, music, and inspirational phrases.
Finally – POOP

Daniel Quillinan’s Tour De Anachy: AR Ep 33
Episode in
Freedom Talk Media
Starting in Berkeley California, Daniel drove to the northwest, the northeast, the Midwest and was headed to Florida, when he left us. Along the way, he visited with various anarchists, went to Porcfest and earned money by reselling goods from thrift stores and pawn shops. As Daniel tells his story of his travels, his memory triggers many anecdotes and anarchy topics. For example, we talk about the make up of the Free State Project, vs the MPLC membership. This leads to a discussion of the various flags of anarchy. Then we get back to Daniel’s journey.
We were Joined by Jim and his young daughter Zebedee, who were great fun to have at the table. Both brought us laughs and good times, as we asked Daniel about his trip.
Mike: I have to interrupt you.
Johnny: Why?
Mike: I just have to interrupt you.

Shooting Cops – Anarchy Roundtable Episode 32
Episode in
Freedom Talk Media
http://freedomtalkmedia.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/Shooting-Cops-Anarchy-Roundtable-32-2.mp3
On today’s episode we discuss the recent rise in police shootings that have taken place in the country.
Joe begins the introduction with an article he read on the Fifth Column titled “Cycle of Insurgency: Cops are being targeted, what’s next?“. The article as Joes reads discusses how insurgencies and insurrection are typical result result of government interfering in people’s lives.
In short the cycle begins with pamphlets that are distributed to the public, but now as more recent because of the internet people are now sharing their stories of interactions with police and their thoughts on government without having to resort to printing pamphlets. In this stage the pamphlets are usually ideas and questions that challenge government behavior or even its existence.
After pamphlets are distributed people who buy into the challenging thoughts on government power will tend to hold reactive protests, voicing their opinions with picket signs and on occasion blocking highways.
When government ignores or minimizes these reactive protests then the public becomes dissatisfied with the government response and will start taking to the streets, rioting, breaking private property, breaking into businesses, burning down government buildings. This situation tends to arise from the government doing something offensive to the general public or a group of people who feel mistreated by governing bodies.
Stage four is when there is a heavy handed government crackdown on instigators usually involving militarized police or military. This usually involves curtailing or infringing upon civilians’ natural rights. But this only fans the flames of rebellion from those who are angry or frustrated with government interfering in their personal lives in a very visceral way.
Finally stage five. During the crackdown, something happens typically a tragedy of some sort that gets the masses’ attention and this leads to the civilian population openly rebelling against the government. From here there are two ways out. Government collapses and there is usurpation or the government is able to destroy the rebellion.
As the discussion continues Danny points out that this is a pattern very similar to escalation within the black market.
1. A crime is committed and the police are unable to stop or capture the criminals for whatever reason.
2. The police ask for more hardware and tech and financing to prevent this from happening again.
3. A crime is committed but this time the criminals are unable to get away.
4. Other criminals notice this and decide to purchase more hardware and tech to better escape capture.
5. A crime is committed by these better criminals and they are able to get away.
6. The police ask for more hardware and tech and financing to prevent this from happening again.
So as one can see this escalation process is similar to the insurgency process. The government keeps interfering more and more and the community or criminals respond with more and more hostility and violence. We call this is a positive feedback loop.
As they say, “violence begets violence“.
As Danny continues the discussion he brings up how cops seemingly in general have different attitudes towards black people vs white people for similar or identical behavior. The following video is only a small sample and not necessarily reflecting that this notion is already a fact, only that this does seem to happen a lot.
Danny speaks further about how he himself, along with fellow minorities, tend to feel a bit more likely harassed by police. This discussion leads into the gentrification aspect that is going on in a bankrupt Detroit recently. Mike brings back the discussion to how in the past he was cop sucker and felt that cops were in the right, but he has since changed his mind.
Joe continues down this path, with Mike making clear WE DO NOT CONDONE SHOOTING POLICE, that police could be seen as an invasion force becoming in a whole issue on the morality of police. Danny brings up that people are taught that government is necessary and we are taught not critically analyze the very notion of beard.
The conversation moves back to escalation and insurgency and gun purchasing. As Johnny points out that in his outings to buying weapons and bullets that there has been a big jump on gun purchases since Obama took office and fear of gun grab from a Hillary Clinton win in 2016. Danny brings up the government tech weaponry being applied to a heavily armed insurrection. Joe and Mike counter with the idea that balance of force applied and that asymmetrical warfare (insurgency) is very good at taking down leviathan like forces.
Joe asserts that is possible it may be possible that the US govt implosion could go without a shot fired. The conversation takes a turn to the alternative media. Which is a good thing because people are taking a more active role in discovering the true and ugly nature of the world. It is arguable that Youtube and Facebook have been essentially in creating skepticism in authority structure. This discussion continues into dank memes have an educational effect as well.
As Mike continues the discussion back to guns and gun laws he makes the assertion that recent gun laws in the U.S. are nearly identical to Nazi gun laws. Johnny and Joe build upon this by discussing the gun laws from from the roaring 20’s and ATFE.
This leads into a discussion on government jobs programs instituted during the great depression and how public education system indoctrinates children into believing how government is the creator of jobs. Danny brings up Liberty Under Attack radio (a show he is also involved in) and if it is ethically viable to work for the government as an anarchist.
Back to shooting cops and how to deal with cop sympathizers Joe brings up the Irish leaving the UK and it how the Irish independence set itself up for another government. Joe articulates that there is a means to to throw off the state and that we can learn from past revolts. Mike brings up the notion that maybe if everyone is armed or had nukes that it would be unlikely that a state could continue to exist – You and the Atomic Bomb. Joe brings it back to how it relates to the cycle of insurgency.
Finally, the show concludes with Jim Fulner and his daughter making a cameo and beard off.
Remember Mid-West Peace and Liberty Fest at Circle Pines Park, MI August 26-29th 2016!
