The company of adventurers expands to six with the addition of Lady Eloise, Damsel of the Grail, Menil the man-at-arms and Fleance the Cuilean squire. When the Dowager of Charnorte is struck down in her tower the trail leads to the swamp domain of Ouiselle, a blight on the Dukedom of Quenelles where her salvation lies in the search for a corrupted grail chapel. The heroes face the one-eyed fimir of the swamp in order to save the Grail Prophetess. After a slight fastforward through an unwritten scenario whereby Sir Etienne, Dumboil and Elror escorted Lady Violetta to La Maistontaal Abbey and were joined by the inventive Lady Etoilette our heroes find themselves defending a remote village in the Massif Orcal from the predations of the undead.
