While at its heart, it seeks equality between men and women, it has become a misunderstood phenomenon.  We unpack the idea of feminism, what it means to be a feminist, the ultimate goal of the movement and the biggest misconceptions about feminism.  Our guest Patience Phiri sheds more light on Feminism. Patience "Pat" Phiri is a feminist, a creative entreprenuer, an artivist, television and events host, socialite and mother of one. She is most known for the talk show, Queening With The Empress, her time with Skyz Metro FM, The Chit Chat Talk show and most recently as the host of the Bulawayo Arts Awards.

She has been coparenting her  son with his father for a couple of years. Other than being a mum, she runs a blog, Shaz The Scribbler where she discusses dofferent issues sich as getting by as a single mother, self discovery and healing.  She is a former Zimbabwe Open University student and has experience in administration.  In this episode she talks about the journey  of coparenting.

Our guest Khotso SIbanda sheds light on what it's like being a new mum. She opens up about pregnancy, the maternal health system, baby naming, being a working mum and her hopes for her baby girl.  Khotso Sibanda is a young mother of one. When she is not being a mummy to six month old Okuhle, Khotso wears many hats. She is a 2020 African Writer's Trust Fellow where her fictional story was selected.  She is a Film and Theatre Studies graduate and a script and copywriter by profession. She is also  a fashion and style blogger and commercial model. Above all, Khotso is a daughter, partner, friend and of course a mother.

She discusses what its is liek to be newly married, having a whole new family and being separated from her twin sister to go and start a new life.  With over three years experience in sales and marketing, Tafadzwa aims to empower young through speaking. She has spoken  for organisations such as TedEx, WILD Trust, KhulumaniFM and CITE Asakhe.  Her other skills include public speaking, networking. professional selling, mentoship and coaching. 

Does online dating work  ? Particularly in Zimbabwe. Is a relationship that started online any different from any other relationship? How do you identify a catfish?  Find out as Nozi talks to Viola about dating online and how it has changed the dating and relationship landscape locally.  Viola Thaka aged 26 year is a wife and mother of 1. She met her now husband 7 years ago on Facebook and they have been together ever since.  Viola is a polytechnic graduate, having qualified  in Hotel Management & Catering. Currently she is a  chef and owns  Delectable  and Delightful  Caterers  & Events Management.  She is  passionate about children and she spends her spare time visiting disabled children.  Viola also enjoys reading and travelling.

Do women hate each other or have we just been programmed to? Why are so happy to be called "one of the guys?" Nozi talks to Tinashe about the alleged "Pull Her Down" syndrome and the ways in which women seem unkind to one another.  Tinashe is a poet and spoken word artist. She is a Bulawayo Arts Award winner and a  two time National Arts Merit Award winner, scooping the Outstanding poet award twice in a row between 2017 and 2018. At the time she was the youngest person  and only female to win the award.  She has performed at various events such as Shoko Festival, Word N Sound Festival and Intwasa Arts Festival. In the middle of the issues that she addresses in her poetry, she likes to discuss things that move her and things that are relevant to society. Other than being a poet, Tinashe is a practising Medical Laboratory Scientist.
