In this episode I'll be talking about why the new Olaplex No. 8 was created, whether you need it and how to use it.  Olaplex is a strengthening product line ideal for fine, damaged or compromised hair. As a professional hairstylist I found that clients' hair was always looking dull after they'd been using Olaplex for a long time, and I would have to incorporate a moisture mask from a separate brand to bring the lustre and life back into their hair. Whether that's Kevin Murphy or R+Co (two of my favorite hair brands), I wished Olaplex would just come up with a good mask to bridge that gap. So they finally did and now we have a product that brings moisture into the hair.  Olaplex is not recommended if you have course hair, dry hair or curly hair. I find my clients see zero difference in how their hair behaves. In this episode I talk about why you should not be skipping your hair conditioner. It's a very common myth that hair conditioner will weigh your hair down and cause your scalp to go greasy. I talk about a client who was always "fighting" with her hair texture, only to realize that she wasn't using conditioner and it's the reason she's never liked her previous haircuts.
