Pastor Petr Rattay speaks at 01. 03. 2026 A strong family is not built only on love, values, or effort, but on Christ’s lordship. Many of us are building something right now: a marriage, a young family with small children, or a new life far from home in another country. We invest time, energy, and hope into creating a stable home. Yet many families struggle when Christ is present but not truly central. When Christ is not at the center: communication breaks down, bitterness grows through unforgiveness, spiritual leadership disappears, conflicts remain unresolved, outside pressures overwhelm the home, and generational wounds remain unhealed. Jesus may be honored on Sunday or called on in crisis, but not enthroned in everyday life and decisions. Christ Is Not an Add-On — He Is the Foundation “All things were created through Him and for Him… and in Him all things hold together.” Our families do not exist to support our personal vision—our families exist for Christ and under His authority. If Christ is only a moral teacher, the home becomes legalistic. If He is only a helper, the home becomes self-centered. If He is only a friend, the home becomes casual and undisciplined. If He is only an advisor, the home becomes anxious and indecisive. Only when Christ is Lord does the home become stable, healthy, and spiritually grounded. A Choice Every Family Must Make “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” This is a declaration of direction, not emotion. Every home serves something—comfort, success, children, money, or Christ. Neutral homes do not exist. Mary and Martha Martha welcomed Jesus but became distracted by many tasks. Mary sat at Jesus’ feet and listened. Busy families often love Jesus but slowly stop spending time with Him. Distraction leads to comparison and frustration, but Christ’s presence brings peace. A Christ-centered home is not perfect—it is prioritized. Listening to Jesus comes first, and everything else in family life flows from that foundation. Pastor Petr Rattay speaks at 22. 02. 2026 Forgiveness and Reconciliation: A Pathway to Freedom What Is Forgiveness? Forgiveness is a conscious decision to release resentment or the desire for revenge toward someone who has hurt us. Christianity values forgiveness deeply, yet giving it can be difficult. Forgiveness is not weakness or merely a feeling—it is a choice that leads to freedom for ourselves and others. Joseph and His Brothers – Forgiveness After Betrayal The story of Joseph (Genesis 45–50) shows deep betrayal followed by reconciliation. Joseph was loved by his father but hated by his brothers, who sold him into slavery. He was falsely accused, imprisoned, and forgotten. Yet he remained faithful, and God eventually raised him to power in Egypt. Years later Joseph faced the brothers who had wronged him. Instead of revenge, he chose forgiveness and said: “You meant evil against me, but God meant it for good.” Joseph did not deny the pain but trusted God’s greater purpose. Forgiveness did not erase the past, but it allowed healing and restored relationships. This story speaks directly into our closest relationships—family, marriage, and friendships—where wounds often run deepest. Forgiveness and Prayer Jesus teaches that forgiveness should accompany prayer: “Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone.” Forgiveness is not occasional—it belongs to everyday life with God. It is the decision to release a claim, even if trust still needs time. We Forgive Because We Were Forgiven Christians forgive because God first forgave them. Receiving mercy and extending mercy belong together. Through Christ, believers are called to bring reconciliation into relationships. Forgiveness as a Lifestyle When Peter asked how often he should forgive, Jesus answered: not seven times, but seventy-seven times. Forgiveness shapes daily life in families, marriages, and churches. Pastor Petr Rattay speaks at 15. 02. 2026 The habits you practice in marriage shape your future. They are not occasional actions, but repeated patterns. Good habits strengthen a marriage; bad ones slowly weaken it and create emotional distance over time. Marriage is a covenant before God (Gen 2:24; Matt 19:6). He blesses those who honor His design and gives strength through His Spirit. Love is more than chemistry. The early excitement fades, and real life brings conflict about money, work, expectations, children, and daily stress. A healthy marriage requires intention, humility, forgiveness, patience, and God’s help.  Pray Together “If the Lord does not build the house, the builders labor in vain” (Ps 127:1). Prayer brings life and strength. Pray individually and together. Make it a habit—even 2–3 times a week. Couples who pray together protect their marriage and invite God into their struggles, decisions, and future.  Communicate with Love, Not Blame Harsh words wound, but gentle words heal (Prov 12:18; 15:1). Blame leads to defense, attack, and distance. Instead of accusing, describe the situation, express your feelings, and seek solutions together. Forgive quickly (Col 3:13–14; Eph 4:31). Sometimes stop, pray, calm down, and return later. Protect your marriage from resentment, pride, and bitterness.  Practice Love and Respect “Husbands, love your wives… Wives, respect your husbands” (Eph 5:22–25). Spend intentional time together. Show honor, affection, and appreciation. Marriage is intimate and precious—make it a clear priority, not an afterthought in a busy life.  Build Healthy Relationships “Bad company corrupts good character” (1 Cor 15:33). Surround yourselves with couples who honor God. Learn from them, stay accountable, and be an example to others. Marriage is like a garden—you reap what you plant. With God, even a broken marriage can begin again. Build daily habits that honor Him, bless your spouse, and your marriage will grow strong and flourish. But a strong marriage is never accidental—it is built with wisdom and intention. Dating on purpose means choosing a solid foundation over fleeting feelings and learning to love with vision, not impulse. 1. Character Over Chemistry Chemistry sparks attraction, but character sustains love through storms. Look beneath the surface: how do they handle pressure, disappointment, and responsibility? How do they treat those who offer nothing in return? Attraction brings you together, shared values keep you together. 1 Samuel 16:7 2. Purity and Boundaries Boundaries aren’t walls; they are fences protecting what is sacred. Purity honors your partner as a whole person, not an object for gratification. Sexual intimacy is designed for the covenant of marriage. Self-control and respect today prepare you for lifelong faithfulness. 1 Corinthians 6:18–19 3. Communication as a Safe Harbor Dating trains you for marriage. Hard conversations don’t get easier later—they multiply. The goal isn’t a conflict-free relationship, but one that knows how to repair. Practice effective listening—repeat what you heard before responding. James 1:19 4. Time as an Investment Intentionality continues after the wedding. Protect focused time together: daily connection and one dedicated date night each week. Guard this time from work, entertainment, and digital distractions. 1 Peter 4:8 5. God at the Center A relationship centered only on each other is fragile. When God is at the center, neither partner carries the weight of being everything. Growing closer to God draws you closer together. Ecclesiastes 4:12 6. Building on the Rock Dating on purpose isn’t about finding the perfect person, but becoming the right one. Spiritual and emotional maturity today is the greatest gift you can give your future marriage. Build on the Rock, and storms will shape you—not destroy you. Pastor Petr Rattay speaks at 11. 01. 2026 Acts 11:19–26; 13:1–3 Antioch was the “Heart of the East,” a key crossroads of culture and influence. Today, we stand in the Heart of Europe. Like Antioch, Prague is where the world meets. But in 2026, God is calling Heart Prague to be more than a crossroads—He is calling us to be a community of hungry hearts. The Antioch church broke cultural barriers. Its leadership reflected global diversity, and the gospel crossed ethnic lines. Heart Prague is built on the value of Humanity—believing every person matters to God. We are a multicultural church where Czechs, internationals, and refugees find a place to belong. Our Belong Groups are modern table fellowship, forming deep relationships across cultures. Acts tells us that while they worshiped and fasted, the Holy Spirit spoke. Fasting in Antioch was not ritual, but revelation. To hear God clearly in 2026, we must be a fasting church. Fasting quiets the noise of our secular city and sharpens our spiritual hearing. We fast not to get things from God, but to realign our hearts with His will. When we fast together, we gain unity and clarity. During worship and fasting, the Spirit said, “Set apart Barnabas and Saul.” Fasting is the birthplace of assignments. Our calling is discovered in God’s presence, not human strategy. As we enter 2026, we fast for spiritual breakthrough—for families, students, and those far from God. Antioch was a sending church. Heart Prague exists to extend God’s Kingdom by equipping and sending people into their workplaces and communities. They were called Christians because they looked like Christ. Our prayer is that Prague would see Jesus through our praying, fasting, multicultural, and loving community. Call to Action: Join this season of prayer and fasting. Gabriel Podwika speaks at 18. 01. 2026The Bible is more than just a book. What other book has influenced so many nations, cultures, and laws? What other book has caused so many kings and rulers to rise up against its readers? What other book was written over the course of more than 1,000 years by 40 different authors from different occupations, yet its message remains perfectly the same? It is not just any book; it is the living Word of God. It is God Himself. Apostle John began his Gospel by saying that the Word was with God, and the Word was God and it came down to this earth. The Word is Jesus Christ. Notice while reading the Bible from the Old Covenant to the New Covenant, God has always called His people to know His Word and to live by it, and this has never changed. As Jesus says in John chapter 15, we are called to dwell in Him—to be connected to Him, to know Him, and to bear fruit. God is the one who prunes us and helps us grow and bear fruit. But can we do this on our own? Never. Today’s world calls us to trust only ourselves, yet God calls us to humble ourselves and to trust Him alone. We can see this in lives of Abraham, Moses and king David. Moreover, in this world full of the enemy’s traps, there is only one way to survive—and that is to live in the truth, in the Word, to live in Jesus. Then our identity, our strength, and our everything will be found in Him alone as we will stand on the solid rock. Today I’d like to challenge you: 1. If you have never come to know the Word, Jesus Christ, do it today. Pray and ask Him, in simple words, to come into your life because you want to know Him. In Him, you will find joy, peace, love, and so much more. 2. Start your everyday with 30 minutes of dwelling in God’s Word. Pastor Petr Rattay speaks at 04. 01. 2026 Wake Up My Soul At the start of a new year, we pause and look back—at joys and pain, successes and failures, people we gained and lost. Life gives us reasons to celebrate and to grieve. But a new year is not only about reflection; it’s about a deeper question: How do we want to live now? When life is short and God’s love eternal, what truly matters? A new year brings new plans and goals. It’s good to have them, but not to overload ourselves. No one says, “I want to be more busy than last year.” The quality of life is connected to the heart. We can look alive, even religious, and yet be spiritually asleep. “The hour has already come for you to wake up.” (Romans 13:11) Our series Close to God reminds us that closeness to God shapes life now and forever. It is not automatic—it must be cultivated and protected. Just as overeating and oversleeping weaken the body, spiritual neglect weakens the soul. Hunger is healthy. Spiritual hunger is a gift and a responsibility. We don’t create it; we respond to it. What we feed grows. What we neglect weakens. A distracted soul slowly loses its appetite for God. Awakening comes through rhythm, not intensity. Jesus lived with daily rhythms of prayer and Scripture (Mark 1:35). Not emotional highs, but steady attentiveness. Daily Scripture – SOAP S – Scripture: what does the text say? O – Observation: what stands out to me? A – Application: how should this shape my life? P – Prayer: respond honestly and personally to God. Add prayer and fasting to realign desire, and vision alignment to seek God’s kingdom first. Busyness for God can replace closeness to God. The key question is not Am I successful or active enough? But Am I awake, responsive, and close to God? Awake people change the world. “Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.” (James 4:8) Prayer: Lord, wake us up. Restore our hunger and teach us to stay close to You. Amen. Gabriel Podwika speaks at 07. 12. 2025 There is so much despair in this world and people everywhere are searching for hope—a reason to keep moving forward. Yet this longing is nothing new. Since the earliest days of human history, people have looked for promises strong enough to hold on to, something that could carry them through life’s storms. Sailors facing terrifying waves fixed their eyes on the shore, trusting that even the faintest sign of land meant survival. One powerful example is the story of John Newton, later known as the author of Amazing Grace. Living an ungodly life as a slave trader, he found himself caught in a deadly storm that brought him face-to-face with death. In desperate fear he cried out to God, and the storm calmed. That moment changed his heart, and he devoted the rest of his life to serving God. Looking into the Bible, we see that from the birth of the Jewish nation there has always been a hope sustaining them—the ancient promise given to Adam and Eve, Abraham, Moses, David, and many others—that one day a Messiah would come and the Kingdom of God in its fullness would fill the Earth. This promise strengthened them for centuries, shaping their identity and their future. Many still hold to this hope today, not realizing that the promise has already been fulfilled: the Messiah has come. And this hope is no longer only for Israel but for all humanity. Christ came to Earth, died for our sins, our failures, and our brokenness, rose again, and promised that one day He and God the Father will return. This is a hope wide enough for the whole world. The Jewish King is the One who gives hope where none can be found, and countless testimonies across generations confirm it. May we never forget who the real hope of this world is.If you do not yet have this hope, speak to Jesus honestly. Ask for forgiveness and invite Him into your life. And if you already carry this Hope, do not keep it only for yourself—share it so others may also experience a life filled with fullness and purpose. So if that’s true, who then is our real enemy?Ephesians 6:12 tells us clearly that our struggle is not against people, but against spiritual forces of evil. The real enemy is the devil, who comes only to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10).In Isaiah 36–37, we see his tactics: lies, fear, pride, and doubt. Pastor Petr Rattay speaks at 30. 11. 2025 In our fast-paced world, we often overlook the power of honor. Honor is more than politeness—it’s a deep attitude of respect that shapes our values and transforms relationships. It means recognizing the God-given value in others, treating people with dignity, and choosing words and actions that build up rather than tear down. Dishonor, on the other hand, damages relationships and creates division, resentment, and missed opportunities for connection. We all know how painful it is to feel disrespected. Dishonor can poison marriages, friendships, and even entire communities. Michal, David’s wife, mocked him as he worshiped before the Lord; her dishonor resulted in the loss of blessing. Scripture gives us powerful examples. David honored King Saul even when Saul pursued him. Instead of taking revenge, David spared his life, protecting his own integrity and opening the way for God to elevate him. In Nazareth, people dishonored Jesus and their lack of faith kept them from receiving miracles—dishonor closes doors. Ruth honored Naomi with loyalty and love, and this choice led to her redemption and a place in the lineage of Jesus. Honor often brings blessings that reach beyond our own generation. Where can you show more honor? Maybe there are relationships that need healing through respect, humility, or forgiveness. If you’ve felt dishonored, know that God sees you and values you. Honor your parents with gratitude, your spouse with kindness and affirmation, your coworkers by valuing their contributions, and your church community by appreciating and supporting its leaders. Above all, honor God through obedience, worship, and a life that reflects His character. When we choose honor, we unlock the rewards God has prepared for us. Amen. Akshaya Raj speaks at 23. 11. 2025 Scripture teaches that Christians are called to honour authority in every area of life — government, employers, parents, and church leaders. Romans 13 establishes that all authority is instituted by God, meaning that resisting rightful authority is resisting what God has appointed. Other passages confirm this: honour employers so God’s name is not dishonoured (1 Timothy 6:1), honour parents as a command with a promise (Ephesians 6:2), and respect church leaders who labour for the good of the church (1 Thessalonians 5:12–13). Because authority ultimately comes from God, believers are called to maintain a posture of honour even when they disagree with leaders. This means avoiding mockery, slander, and bitterness, and instead seeking wisdom, grace, and counsel. Scripture also instructs Christians to pray for those in authority (1 Timothy 2:1–2), so that their leadership may be guided by God and our own hearts shaped toward compassion. Prayer reminds us that ultimate allegiance belongs to Christ, who directs the rise and fall of earthly rulers and turns hearts according to His will (Proverbs 21:1). The Bible offers examples of honour without compromise. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego refused commands that contradicted God’s Word yet addressed the king respectfully. David honoured Saul as God’s anointed king even when Saul acted unjustly. These stories show that honour does not require blind obedience, especially when commands oppose God’s law, but it does call for humility and respect. Though human authority is often flawed, Christians hold hope because God’s kingdom endures beyond all earthly systems. The stories of Daniel and David point to the eternal King — Jesus Christ — whose kingdom is marked by justice, righteousness, and peace. Pastor Petr Rattay speaks at 26. 10. 2025 Building That Lasts Every life is building something – a career, a marriage, a family, a future. But the question isn’t are we building? but what are we building on? In a shifting world, God calls us to build on something eternal: Jesus Christ, the Cornerstone. 1. The Cornerstone Sets the Alignment “Behold, I lay a stone in Zion… a precious cornerstone” (Isaiah 28:16). Like the first stone in construction, Jesus sets the direction of our lives. Without Him, our priorities and relationships go crooked. 2. The Cornerstone Bears the Weight “The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone” (Psalm 118:22). Jesus carries our sin, shame, and struggles. We don’t have to bear life’s burdens alone. 3. The Cornerstone Unites the Structure “In Him the whole building is joined together…” (Ephesians 2:21–22). Jesus holds families, marriages, churches, and communities together. With Him at the center, unity flows; without Him, division grows. 4. The Cornerstone Guarantees Completion “He who began a good work in you will carry it on…” (Philippians 1:6). God never abandons His work. He will complete the faith, healing, and restoration He started in our lives. 5. Building on the Right Stone Jesus is the only foundation that holds. If your life has cracked, His grace allows you to: Realign – bring your life back to Christ Rebuild – restore relationships and homes Recommit – re-anchor your faith Conclusion Jesus is the Cornerstone: He sets alignment, bears the weight, unites, and guarantees completion.
