Mark Call – Torah Teaching – from “Ha’avinu” to Two Houses

The regular annual-cycle Torah parsha reading this week isn’t really ‘regular.’ We’re heading into the Fall Feasts (moedim) of YHVH, so the special readings that go with the Holy Days are on the menu, and only the last few chapters in Deuteronomy remain, before the cycle begins anew with “Bereshiet” – the first part of Genesis. Which is why Mark Call, of Shabbat Shalom Mesa fellowship, has decided to digress a bit, for reasons he explains. The major ‘Jewish calendar’ (aka, ‘Hillel,’ or Diaspora, etc) lists this Sabbath, the 12th of September Roman, as “Rosh Hoshana,” the ‘head of the year.’ But Scripture consistently refers to it as Yom Teruah, the Day of Shouting, or the Shofar, and it marks the literal countdown for all the rest of the Fall Feasts. And that date – interesting – can vary quite a bit, if you compare calendar understandings. Which really means the readings, and midrash, for this week are going to be unique. Some – be forewarned – will also see them as perhaps controversial, largely because current events, and what is too often ignored by BOTH ‘whoring houses,’ is at odds with Official Dogma. The reason why will be made clear. The Erev Shabbat reading comes from both Genesis and the story of Yitzak [Isaac] — and a bit of the second “Song of Moses from Deuteronomy, and introductory commentary: https://hebrewnationonline.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/09/SSM-9-11-26-Dealers-Choice-Yitzak-Gen-22-Not-yet-Yom-Teruah-or-Rosh-Hoshanna-teaching-podcast-x.mp3 The Sabbath Day Midrash begins with the connection between “where we are today,” and “how we got here,” to those things that Mark suggests most people listening probably NEVER heard in a ‘mainstream’ church or synagogue. Because both of them are still in the exile they were promised: “From Ha’azinu to Aholah and Aholibah: the Oldest Sin Remains” (some Bible translations spell their names beginning with an “O”) https://hebrewnationonline.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/09/WT-CooH-9-12-26-Dealers-Choice-Song-2-Not-yet-Yom-Teruah-or-Rosh-Hoshanna-Aholah-Aholabah-and-the-Oldest-Sin-podcast-xxx.mp3 Service information: Shabbat Shalom Mesa fellowship worship services and teachings are broadcast live every Sabbath, via Paltalk. Drive Time Friday

This is the 25th Anniversary of an event that most people who were alive will never forget. Nor, arguably, will they ever hear the truth about it. Most won’t even ask the right questions. ‘ Join David Justice and Mark Call for a discussion that CNN-ABC-CBS-NBC-PBS, or certainly the BBC would never allow. But if “things hidden” are — as our Messiah promised — eventually to be revealed, does that mean even those who have “no love of the Truth,” and thus under the Delusion, will ever figure it out? There’s a message here.

Mark Call – Torah Teaching for parsha ”Nitzavim – Vayelekh”

Parsha “Nitzavim” (Deuteronomy 29:8 through chapter 30) — contains what Mark calls the most concise ‘two-word summary’ of His Word in the Torah, “Choose Life!” But there is SO much more in this one. And, it’s a ‘double-parsha’ this week, which includes chapter 31, “Vayelekh.” It’s one of the most important, ok fundamental, er central – all of that, but perhaps the best word is ‘concise,’ paraschot in Scripture. And it combines some of the most important ‘debunking’ of Big Lies, and even the first description of one of the most important prophecies, too. Mark Call, of Shabbat Shalom Mesa fellowship, covers all of it in the Erev Shabbat reading: https://hebrewnationonline.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/09/SSM-9-4-26-Nitzavim-Vayelekh-teaching-podcast-xxx.mp3 The concept of “choose life!” is so vital to our understanding of His Instruction [or ‘torah’] that it goes way beyond just a summary, or even a ‘razor’ to “rightly divide the word.” But there is more to that in this parsha: it goes to the heart of Who the Messiah IS, and what He is NOT (a liar, who changed his word, when He said the opposite)… …it gives us the first prophetic promise of the “Greater Exodus” or regathering… …and it succinctly debunks one of the other Biggest Lies in ‘sun-god-day skool’ — that “only jesus could possibly keep ‘The LAW’ – ’cause it’s just plain too hard for the likes of you and me.'” Yahushua, the Real Messiah, said that the path that leads to Life is, “narrow, and FEW there be that find it.” [Matthew 7:13-14] Which should concern those who bought into the big lie that He somehow “did away with” what He Wrote for us, and came in the flesh to teach – correctly. The test is ‘open-Book.’ And it’s straight-forward. But we had better read what it really says. “Nitzavim-Vayelekh: Choose wisely – ‘Choose Life!’ ” https://hebrewnationonline.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/09/WT-CooH-9-5-26-Nitzavim-Vayelekh-We-STILL-HAVE-the-CHOICE-podcast-xxx.mp3 Service information: Shabbat Shalom Mesa fellowship worship services and teachings are broadcast live every Sabbath, via Paltalk. Now Is The Time w/Rabbi Steve Berkson | Love & Torah | Part 59

Love and Torah – what’s the connection? This study series delves into the “Two Great Commands” – love Yahweh and love your neighbor. In the final episode, Rabbi Steve Berkson explores the 17th chapter of the Gospel according to John. Here, we witness Messiah Yeshua praying to His Father for those He chose and discipled to carry on His mission. Rabbi Berkson then shifts to Deuteronomy chapter 30. He reveals that Elohim’s plan was to exile His people to other nations due to their disobedience. However, He assured them that they would be regathered and recommit to the commandments, including loving their Elohim. In Matthew 24, we observe how a lawless generation gradually loses its love for Torah. Be wary of false prophets who claim that Torah is obsolete or that adhering to it will lead to a lawless life. Such individuals may mistakenly believe they have a relationship with Messiah and the Father but ultimately fall short. Rabbi Berkson concludes the series by referencing Romans 8:28, which emphasizes the connection between love and Torah-keeping. The verse states, “All things work together for the good…” Rabbi Berkson meticulously dissects these passages, providing you with a deeper understanding of what Yah expects of you. By comprehending these expectations, you can fulfill them and reap the blessings that follow. mtoi.org The MTOI App https://mtoi.org/download-the-mtoi-app youtube.com/@mtoi facebook.com/mtoiworldwide instagram.com/mtoi_worldwide admin@mtoi.org (423) 250-3020 Join us LIVE (all times Eastern): • Torah Study, Fridays 7:30 pm • Shabbat Service, Saturdays 1:15 pm Streaming available on YouTube, Rumble, MTOI App, and mtoi.org

Mark Call – Torah Teaching for parsha ”Ki Tavo”

There are a number of important elements in parsha “Ki Tavo” (Deuteronomy 26:1 – 29:8) — but it’s probably known for being the most daunting collection of curses in the Bible. And — again — that puts it, arguably, at the heart of the destruction of Western Civilization. Is that deserved? Mark Call, of Shabbat Shalom Mesa fellowship, begins to lay out the issue in the Erev Shabbat reading: https://hebrewnationonline.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/SSM-8-28-26-Ki-Tavo-teaching-podcast-xxx.mp3 The words ‘ki tavo,’ are translated from the Hebrew as “when you have come” – into the land. And those curses certainly apply there. And one of the specific consequences is ‘shalach’ – or being “sent out.” Exiled. And that has happened – to BOTH kingdoms. And it REMAINS the case to this day. So – do the curses still apply? Or not? And don’t miss the irony in the fact that some who say, “of COURSE not” – because “the law is done away with” – probably should be paying more attention. NOTE: ‘Curses’ are another one of those topic that tends to upset people. Particularly when they hit close to home, and Mark again pulls no punches. Neither does Scripture, of course. “Ki Tavo: Most Curses in the Whole Bible – Does it MATTER?” https://hebrewnationonline.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/WT-CooH-8-28-26-Ki-Tavo-Curses-Public-private-and-by-acquiescence-podcast-xxx.mp3 Service information: Shabbat Shalom Mesa fellowship worship services and teachings are broadcast live every Sabbath, via Paltalk.
