26 Things We’ve Learned By 26

In this episode, we share 26 things we’ve learned by 26 — lessons and realizations collected unpredictably, intentionally, and sometimes the hard way. From relationships and purpose to personal growth, happiness, and long-term vision, the list we curated is full of what we both believe matters most. It’s raw, reflective, and meant to feel like a letter to our younger selves (or maybe even our current selves). Whether you’re navigating dating, motherhood, career, or working on protecting your peace, we hope something in here resonates. From why you should sometimes drop $40 on a pedicab, to how the 80/20 rule might actually be the key to everything (mental health, money, love—you name it), this one’s got range. We hope you connect with at least one of the things we ramble on about—and if you do, let us know what you think. The Golden Age

In honor of 2024 coming to a close, we’re taking a moment to give it the send-off it deserves. There were so many pivotal moments that have set the stage for us to step into 2025 with a more optimistic outlook. This week, we’re mapping out our vision for the next several years, starting with 2025: lots of gold, color, quiet luxury, and a cultural renaissance filled with intentionality and even more breakthroughs. We’re hoping to see a massive resurgence in timeless art, prioritizing strong relationships, vibrant third spaces, and even meet-cutes while ditching corrupt capitalism, living in autopilot, digital enslavement, and dating apps. We share some musings on the recent political calm, eagerly wanting a modern renaissance, and why authenticity is everything. The Golden Age isn’t a far-off dream—it’s within our grasp… but it’s on us to take the reins, step up, and do the work to create the world we want to live in. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! See you all in 2025!

October Surprise! - Hurricane Helene & Milton, Diddy Arrest, Kanye Return & Much More

October surprises? You bet. But how about what’s the one event that constitutes this year’s infamous “October Surprise”. First up, Hurricane Helene – totally normal, right? Or was there maybe a little “weather weaponization” at play? Then, Hollywood delivers yet another surprisingly unsurprising scandal, with P. Diddy front and center. And as if things weren’t spicy enough, Kanye’s back on the scene, doing Kanye things, of course. Join us in this episode as we unravel some of the October chaos, from shady disaster management to more Hollywood underbelly, just in time for the final stretch leading up to the election. It’s about to get interesting… but you already know that. Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) - What It Is and Why It’s Near and Dear to Our Hearts

60% of Americans have a chronic disease. 18% of Americans struggle with depression. 50% of Americans are chronically obese. 1 in 36 children have Autism. 11% of women and 9% of men experience infertility. On average, US children spend only 4-7 minutes daily doing unconstructed play. Conclusion: We are a very sick nation with a major health crisis. Solution: Make America Healthy Again. (aka MAHA) What is it? Well, it's exactly what it sounds like. It’s about taking the poison out of foods, cleaning up our water, ending chronic disease, restoring our soil, and preserving our environment for us and future generations. It’s clear America has a deep and systemic health crisis. It’s entangled in the corrupt corporate greed of Big Pharma, Big Ag, Insurance agencies, and ultimately, our government. The same people who work for many agencies like the FDA that exist to conduct safety testing and regulate our food end up going to work for the same drug and food companies they are supposed to regulate. And when you travel outside the US, it is easy to see they do not have these problems at the levels we do in the US. RFK Jr. happens to be the face of the MAHA movement, whose primary goal is to end chronic disease in America but restore our soils, clean up our water, and take out the chemicals in our food…just to name a few. Who is he, you may ask? He’s JFK's nephew, a famous environmental attorney who decorated his life with cleaning up the Hudson River, seeing Big Oil, polluters, and Big Pharma in defense of the little guys (like those who are harmed on a daily basis from these chemicals). Join us in this episode as we chat about some high-level information we’ve dug up surrounding the current health crisis and what we can do to Make America Healthy Again and end these medical loops so many Americans find themselves trapped within.

Brat Summer: A Series of Black Swan Events

As we predicted in our previous episode, this would be a summer of black swan events, one after another. And, well, some may have been easier to guess than others. Biden's "stepping down" (aka good ole Nancy gave him a little convincing talk that it was time to retire... in reality, it was probably a coup) was a given. However, Americana summer turning into Brat summer was not something on our bingo card. Tune in to hear our reactions to the recent black swan events in the past month, everything from the assassination attempt and brat summer, the 2024 Olympics, to everything in between. Cheers!

An Americana Revival

It’s looking like an Americana Summer & we are all here for it. If 2024 is the feature film, 2020 was the trailer. And although we may know some of the possible plot points, we have zero way of fully telling what’s in store this season with all the twists & turns that have happened & are yet to come as the year continues. Tune in this week to hear our thoughts on what has happened thus far & predictions of what is to come in these upcoming weeks. (Note: this was recorded before the assassination attempt on President Trump)

Emerging from the Trenches

Hey friends. After a long and eventful two years, we are back recording!!!! We’ve missed making episodes and having such a fun outlet to contribute to many different societal and cultural conversations. Especially, having our thoughts and opinions documented to look back on. It’s been a little surreal looking back on old episodes we’ve made to compare how our thought processes have evolved over the years. With so many nuanced topics and facets of life to dissect and unravel, many opinions of ours have held strong over several years now, while many of them have completely changed. Life is an ongoing process of refinement through retrospect and intentionality and we both still wholeheartedly believe that well-rounded thinking and the exploring of ideas are critical habits to integrate into one’s life. This episode was recorded about a month ago and it’s called “Emerging from the Trenches”- We share some life updates, trials and tribulations that have taken place over the past couple of years, thoughts on the state of things in 2024, and of course some fun stories to keep it lighthearted and US. Thanks y’all for staying tuned in. Godspeed and cheers, -Ella and Jordan Available on all listening platforms and our website! https://www.highlyinspiredpodcast.com Twitter: @_jordancraft @ella_mcfarland @highly_inspired Support the Show.

2000 Mules - Is Election Fraud Really A Thing?

Just when we thought the 2020 election was behind us, with many of the lawsuits finally being put to bed. A new documentary called “2000 Mules” has emerged that shows how “True the Vote”, a non partisan election integrity organization that used three trillion cellphone geotracking signals and surveillance video to reveal “a network of ‘mules’ in battleground states busily collecting ballots from non-profits and stuffing them, a few at a time, into multiple drop boxes in the dead of night.” Apparently this isn’t the first time we have seen election fraud with ballot harvesting. Catherine Engelbrecht, founder of true the vote, explains how back in 2018 Mark Harris (R) used ballot harvesting to win his election in North Carolina. In this episode we will recap the information presented in the film, what made sense, and what critiques remain. Support the show

Medical Loops

Many people find themselves stuck in medical loops when they go through a medical intervention that only provides a temporary Band-Aid fix while leading to more health issues that require more medical inventions and medications. With a health system that cares more about profiting off pills and surgeries than finding long-term healing solutions, it's no surprise people find themselves in these loops they don't know how to get out of. Join us this week to find out the history of these medical loops that point us back to the father of western medicine, John D. Rockefeller (no surprise here). As well as hear some useful tips on how to exit these medical loops. Support the show

EP. 51 - Is America Losing Its Medical Sovereignty to the WHO? Plus an update on Davos, WEF, & Monkey Pox

While Americans have spent the last few weeks fighting over the healthcare issue of abortion, our government has been working in the background on handing over ultimate control of America's health care system and national sovereignty over to the World Health Organization (WHO). This started in January of 2022 when officials from the Biden administration quietly sent the WHO extensive amendments to the International Health Regulations (IHR). This week, these amendments will be voted on at the international World Health Organization (WHO) meeting. The IHR supersedes the U.S. Constitution, so anything that falls into the loosely defined word "health emergency" (gun violence, hate speech, overpopulation, peaceful civil disobedience) in the amendment will now fall under the WHO's authority to dictate what happens in sovereign countries like America. For example, abortion, which the U.S. government has always dictated, will fall under the WHO's legal authority. Why Gas Prices Are So High & a Hot Take on the Energy Crisis

Energy is what powers our everyday modern lives, from the gas we put in our cars, the electricity that powers our houses, and the fuel that transports our food. Society would collapse without it. So what do we do when gas prices increase at insane rates or, even worse, when the non-renewable energy sources run out? This week, we hosted David Ramsden-Wood on the show to discuss all things energy. With his background in oil and gas engineering, experience as the Co-Founder and COO of OneEnergy Partners, and as the creator of the #hottakeoftheday podcast, we felt his expertise in the field would help provide a comprehensive take on the current energy crisis, what some viable solutions are, as well as practical energy alternatives. "I Support The Current Thing."

Things... things. There are lots of things. But, typically, depending on what the media is focused on, there is always a "current thing". Nowadays, social media makes deliberating much easier, with its unique ability to dictate "sides". People used to read full-page newspaper columns and watch breaking news updates in order to gain enough info to formulate an opinion on a matter. Now, receiving "factual" information for highly complex current events is boiled down to mere Instagram infographics, blue check tweets, and sometimes even rap verses. This week's episode topic is inspired by the OG NPC meme, representing folks who struggle to make their own decisions. Hey, gotta love a good meme! Tune into this episode to hear our take on "I support the current thing" culture. Support the show (https://www.patreon.com/highlyinspired)

The Fake American Dream

“If we aren’t being taught how to grow our own food, how to take care of ourselves and our families, how to live without the need for huge governments, banks, and corporations - as our ancestors once did - then we aren’t being educated; we’re being indoctrinated to dependent and subservient to the system.” - Gavin Nascimento The “America Dream” means a lot of things to different people. But historically speaking, the American Dream meant creating your own self-sufficient life with little/no 3rd party intervention. But over the past century and a half, the foundation of the dream to create a space to live freely has turned into us becoming trapped in the hamster wheel of the corporate America machine with less time to invest our individual selves and personal needs. People Who Died Shortly After Calling Out Institutional Power

John F. Kennedy, Patrice Lumumba, Diana Spencer, and Muammar Gaddafi all shared a common attribute. Although they influenced humanity from different geographical locations and periods, their revolutionary importance can be boiled down to one profound impact: their efforts to reveal institutional power. Yet, curiously, each of these individuals suffered intense deaths shortly after rising to peak levels of praise and admiration from the public. Modern history teaching touches on the events of their passing, but with a tremendous amount of vagueness surrounding the motives of institutions during each timeframe - institutions being governments, global organizations, the Firm, and large corporations. Politics aside, in this episode, we shed light on the legacies of these notable figures and the possible institutional motivations that may have contributed to their demise. Living with Intention

Intention and planning are often used interchangeably in our overachieving, hyper-focused, fast-paced world that we live in. But in reality, the two couldn’t be more different. As Americans, we plan a lot. The most significant difference between planning and being intentional is that planning is doing; while intention requires deep thought before any executive can occur. Planning has become so ingrained in our culture that we rarely take a step back to question why we do the things we do to begin with. And without taking time to think before acting, it is easy to get on autopilot - where you go are only going through the motions of life without actually living. In this episode, we dive into what it means to live with intention and find ways to spend time answering the hard questions that ultimately shape the vision each of us has for our own lives.
