So much in our Christian experience can’t be passively learned but needs to be passed down proactively from generation to generation.  “Even if you had ten thousand guardians in Christ, you do not have many fathers,” wrote the Apostle Paul to believes in Corinth, “for in Christ Jesus I became your father through the gospel” (I Corinthians 4:15).
