EP # 5 - Forgiveness

Most of the time when I ask my clients why they haven’t forgiven a family member, they have some arguments and they feel justified in holding on to that anger and resentment. I find that as a whole, we have a confused view on forgiveness. What it means, who benefits from it and how we can forgive someone without an apology. In this episode we dive into the art of forgiveness and how you can benefit from it.

EP #4 - Manuals

We have a secret set of rules for our family. We don't usually tell them these rules, we think they should already know. But when those rules are broken or not followed, we make it mean that we are not loved or cared about. When we learn how to accept them the way they are now we can find the peace, the love and the happiness we were trying to create by having those rules in the first place. And the best part is that you don't need them to change in order to find that peace and love. You can have that now!

EP #3 - People Pleasing

People pleasing is one of my favorite topics. It shows up in so many areas of our lives and most of the time we don't even know why we are doing it. We think that it makes us a good person. A good daughter, wife, sister, mother, aunt etc. We think it is our job and that it is the only way we will find love, acceptance, and prove our worthiness. We believe our families need to be "fixed" and that we have the power to keep it all from crumbling down around us. We try to be the peace keeper. But it never really works and that leaves us feeling disappointed, emotionally exhausted, and like a failure. It is time to break this cycle!
