Students are beginning to use Chat GPT to write their papers. Candidates are using it to write their resumes. And of course, marketers are using it to write their social media and blog posts. Is this a good thing or bad thing? I don’t see it as either, but rather the inevitable advancement of humans and technology. It’s how we adapt and evolve that matters here. By automating mundane tasks, we can now focus on more important aspects of our roles, such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity. And naturally, some jobs that can be automated by AI will be at risk of becoming obsolete, and workers in these industries will need to acquire new skills to remain employable. This is already happening in industries such as manufacturing and transportation, where AI is replacing human workers in some roles. On the flip side, it is also creating roles and allowing people to do better work, faster, and more efficiently.  I had the pleasure of interviewing Kelley Tenny (An educator and Founder of “Teach Your Brilliance”) and I asked her a ton of questions on all of this. I was impressed! Not only did she discuss the impact on work and education but she also talked about how AI will impact ALL humans, regardless of work or roles. And yes, I did ask her the burning question: “So what do we do when all students know how to use Chat GPT and they’re using it to write their papers in the matter of minutes?”  Her answer… Ah, just watch/listen for yourself!! AI is making us rethink video content, but not how you might think. Over the past few months, we’ve seen Chat GPT take the world by storm. We’ve seen tools like Descript get better and better. We’ve seen the entire marketing industry get shaken up. But that's why we should be evolving and embracing the AI that helps us do our jobs better and more efficiently, while still making sure that we stay true to the HUMAN element and connection of our content. And that's the key right, you want to use AI, but not sound like a robot or lose the human touch.     Which is why I’m going to break down the 3 key areas you, the human,, should be using AI in your video content process TODAY.   1.)   CONTENT IDEATION ✅ Coming up with a 30-day content calendar based on 3-5 core subjects/content pillars and some context ✅ Asking AI to give you content ideas based around the top 5 pain points you see from your customers   2.)   CONTENT CREATION ✅ Turning video transcriptions into well written newsletters, blog posts, or LinkedIn posts ✅ Creating video scripts/outlines based on some key ideas, frameworks, and prompts ✅ Generating subject lines for emails, YouTube videos, podcasts, etc.   3.)   POSTPRODUCTION/VIDEO EDITING ✅ Silence detection, removing filler words, and transcribing ✅ Auto captions, titles, and other basic video editing functions ✅ Sound correction and audio quality studio effects   (Descript, again, being a great tool for this!)   But you still need a human to curate, create, manage, use the tools, and ensure everything comes together how it should!     Interested in all of this?
