I was engaged in this dating/relationship conversation in late 2020, and 2021 on TikTok. The adage became, “We want women like our mothers.” From those conversations, in November 2021, I started reading comments on my side of the internet based around the lives of “women like our mothers”. As of November 2024, this project is 3 years old! For this show, I reflect on that —and I get to talk about the book A WOMAN LIKE MY MOTHER (September 2024).
