I've Got Daddy Issues

It is my earnest desire to see all fatherless adults heal from the pain and the trauma of their fatherless journeys. Many of us have no idea our fatherless journey is the very thing dictating our relational, emotional, mental, and even spiritual lives.I am here to help you connect the dots to the pain of your fatherless journey. Who do #ChildSupportPayments belong to, the mother or the child?     A few months back a man decided he would put the mother of his child on blast about putting him on child support.  He was bold enough to even state, "She makes more money than me.  She doesn't need it."  Her response was, "RUN ME MY MONEY!"     Why is child support so adversarial?  Why is child support seen as an attack on a man's fatherhood? Should every woman put a man on child support?  How does our #fatherlessness play into how we as women make this decision?   For this conversation, Dr. Torri J. welcomes to IGDI's Podcast, Joi Stokes @ubringmejoi, and once again Author Ronika Ward @ronikaward.    This conversation is not what you think!   Like IGDI on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/IveGotDaddyI...  Like IGDI on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/ivegotdaddy...  Like Dr. Torri J. on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/iamtorrij Like Dr. Torri J. on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/iamtorrij  About IGDI: I've Got Daddy Issues is a weekly podcast hosted by Dr. Torri J., Founder & CEO of the #Fatherless Generation Foundation, helping you connect the dots to the pain of your fatherless journey and giving you the tools to heal!   Website: www.ivegotdaddyissues.com   #IGDI #Kandi #Block #DrTorriJ #FatherlessGeneration #I'veGotDaddyIssues

In recent months, Cam Newton talked about how some women proclaim being a Bad B#^&H, but they can't cook and don't know how to let a man lead.  Some got offended. But here is the question, Is Cam Newton Right?  Can we cook? Have we taken on this persona of being a Bad B#^&H, "The Independent Woman" but we lack in the areas of being able to have a successful relationship?   For this conversation, Dr. Torri J. welcomes to IGDI's Podcast, Mr. Shawn Lovings and Author Ronika Ward.   This conversation gets deep really fast! Website: www.ivegotdaddyissues.com   Clip Credit: Million Dollaz Worth of Game   #IGDI #CamNewton #DrTorriJ #FatherlessGeneration #IveGotDaddyIssues

Dr. Torri J. welcomes to IGDI's Podcast, Dr. Steven Allwood, Stacey J., and Dr. Ayanay Furgeson to the orange couch.  We use Nick Cannon's journey of fatherhood with multiple women as a way to discuss, answer questions, and connect some dots to the trauma you may be experiencing in your own journey.  Is it sustainable?  Is he polyamorous or is he polygamous? Is he really creating a legacy or Is it just creating another fatherless generation?  What does co-parenting with multiple women look like?      As you can see, I've got questions and so I brought some friends to the conversation who have a few answers.     Like IGDI on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/IveGotDaddyI...  Like IGDI on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/ivegotdaddy... Dr. Torri J. welcomes back to IGDI's  Podcast, Lola Troy of HealBlackJoy, and  Dr. Alisha Rorer of Rorer Psychotherapy and Consulting Services to #IveGotDaddyIssues to discuss how Unhealed Trauma Creates Unhealthy Relationships! This episode is going to visit Will & Jada's relationship after the slap at the Oscars.  It's time we look at how unhealed trauma and dysfunctional cycles repeat themselves when we don't take the time to heal.   Let's connect the dots of their fatherless pain back to this situation. It's been a while but I am back! The next full episode will be published on December 5.

In this episode I discuss The Soul of the Fatherless Man in regard to potential fundamental developmental issues in the area of his romantic relationships and provide you with a potential understanding as to why he struggles with responsibility and commitment.

On Resurrection Sunday let's get into the idea of God being a father to the fatherless and what that means for a fatherless generation.   This second episode will take a look at the definitions of fatherless, why does God say He is a father to the fatherless, and how does Him being our father translates into our day to day lives.   Then if we are growing up fatherless or grew up fatherless do we just have an innate ability to know what a father should do and be?  And last but not least, I will ask you one question, does God being your father mean He did not desire for you to have a relationship with your earthly father?

Have high standards and expectations kept you thinking you will never find your equal? Have you suppressed the trauma in your life and covered it up with success and materialism? Have you thought you escaped the throng of fatherlessness but you are an overachiever and perfectionist? This episode of I've Got Daddy Issues discusses the fatherless woman who has it all... or at least it appears as though she does.  She is accomplished, educated, financially stable but not fully living the life she truly desires.   Let's Connect the Dots to you pain.
