Indigenous Rights Movement Radio Autumn TwoBulls Sunday 1/30 at 4pm cst

As can be seen below the program was originally set to be about other things.Between the time the show was set up on Thursday and the time it aired on Sunday Autumn Two Bulls received death threats on the internet. Of course those threats were deleted . Fortunately there were people watching the exchanges and they took screen shots of all the threats. A screen shot is what the computer saw at the actual time. A photograph if you will. These screen shots have been viewed by the attorney who in accordance with his obligations as an officer of the court is required to follow appropriate guidelines. Please join me this Sunday when my Sister Autumn TwoBulls will be my guest. Autumn always speaks for her heart and with humility. It has been my honor to stand by her through many hard times and in many good things she has done. Hopefully Autumn will have a special surprise guest with her.... Respecting Cultural boundries and prospering with out selling out our way life or our identity. What do people think it cultural except for progress. We have to come to an understanding so we can pull our people out of poverty.Maintaining cultural identity and still thriving in the world we have to deal with today...

Indigenous Rights Movement Radio Autumn TwoBulls H.E L.P.

Please join me Sunday at 4pm central when my Good Sister Autumn TwoBulls will be the guest .Autumn is the founder of H.E L.P. ( Helping Every lakota Person) and will be talking about the programs being set up to H.E.L.P. this coming year. Reservation H.E.L.P.   H.E.L.P. (Helping Every Lakota Person)  A Grassroots effort which transpired out of the work of Autumn Two Bulls Tetonwan Payabaya/Ite Sica Oglala Lakota. Autumn lives on Pine Ridge Reservation and could no longer sit idly by as she saw Elders go without heat and children without proper food and Youths committing suicide and the injustices that her people face. Autumn chose to speak out on behalf of her people. And then chose to take action. In her writings and ability to speak up has brought worldwide attention to take action. In her writings and ability to speak up has brought worldwide attention to the current situations. As a result of Autumn's actions, dozens have had their propane tanks filled, groceries have been delivered, and lights have been turned back on in homes. Join Autumn as she expands her work, from her home community, right out to the whole Lakota Nation. Our Lakota people have been in a struggle since we were put onto reservations. The poverty level has always been high. You take a people's way to support themselves and expect them to live in the harshest conditions. Well you can understand the hardships our people face on a daily basis. It's not about being lazy or not wanting to work. It's about being treated fair and being able to survive on our reservation. This is our home and there should be no reason we have to leave to have a better life.I did not set this sit up to get pity from people but to bring awareness of the current situations. So you can better understand us, so we can work together to bring change into the communities of the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. "WE DON'T NEED A HAND OUT WE NEED A HELPING HAND UP"

Replay of my show with Phillip Meshekey 4pm cst Sunday 8/1

Replay of my show with Phillip Meshekey   Please join in Sunday when the guest will be Phillip Meshekey . Phillip is a poet and musician who has a unique perspective on life to share. Born December 17th 1978, in Oakland California, Phillip Meshekey is Mishikae Doodem, (Turtle clan) Waganakising (crooked tree) Odawak "Ottawa" (to trade human being), or Anishinaabe k (Fell from the stars), and sadly a member of the little traverse bay bands of Odawa (Ottawa) Indians in northern Michigan. Phillip was born right into the civil rights movements in california, to a hipi mother, and a traveling Odawa father. Tragically at age 5 Phillip, and his mother & two brothers were separated, lost & oppressed within the corrupt child welfare system, while hi sfather was estranged. In and out of foster homes & institutions sparked a flame in his imagination, seeking the beauty in all his chaos. Growing up on, and off California Reservation & Rancheria boundaries, partly within the urban sprawls of the bay area, and a small tucked away reservation in northern Sonoma county, it was like night and day, but in common....both times were pretty crazy. As an "out of state" native, Phillip was blessed to learn his California relatives ceremonies & ways."From the hoods, to the woods" from the babylonian concrete of West Santa Rosa to Dry creek Pomo Rancheria in Alexander valley, Phillip experienced both worlds. Phillip has played & spoken in native communities through out western Turtle island, and also reaching the masses at large venues such as 2009 Reggae Rising, 2008 & 2009 Earthdance, (Laytonville hub event). Phillip was blessed to be a part of the 2008 Earthdance Indigenous Elders Council as the only youth speaker; sharing the circle with Oren Lyons, 13th grandmother Agnes Baker Pilgrim, & Fred Downey aka "Coyote."
