001: “Why Vegan?” – Pilot – Indy Vegan Family Podcast
“Why Vegan?” Pilot Episode (April 16, 2013)
Welcome to Indy Vegan Family, The Podcast!
Family Updates/Introductions: Wade (Dad) works full time at Easter Seals in Indianapolis. He is an insulin-dependent diabetic and it was his doctor’s orders that started the family down the road to being vegan. Jenny (Mom) is a stay at home mom. She has always been an animal lover and becoming vegan is the next logical step on her journey of compassion toward animals. Katie is a 16-year-old high school student and is the non-vegan in the house. Jake is a toddler and is almost vegan but his favorite food, “tcheese” (aka cheese) is holding him back. Nellie is a healthy breast fed infant and may be the only one in the household who starts her life as a vegan.
