This series focuses on a variety of subjects that we believe helps us do exactly that. In this episode Dr John Tuders leads a discussion with members of the Method team on the Enneagram.  The Enneagram is a personality assessment tool similar to many others out there like the DISC Assessment, Meyers Briggs, or Strength Finders. This is a tool that we use at Method to help our people understand themselves better and engage with clients and teammates more effectively.

In this episode, we get to know Timothy Morey, the new Global Head of Method. Timothy brings extensive global leadership experience in design, product management, marketing, and strategy. This new appointment is a key step in furthering Method’s continued growth. Most recently, Timothy served as the Global Managing Director of frog. Prior to frog, He held marketing, strategy, and product roles in Silicon Valley companies. Tim is passionate about building businesses, and he has a proven track record of bringing award-winning products and services to market for companies across the globe.

In this episode we discuss Personal Brand and why this subject has become so important in business and professional development. This episode will feature Dr. John Tuders, Method's Executive Director of Business and Human Development, and Dr Alex Jacobs. Alex brings almost a decade of experience in leadership development and coaching.  For some, the idea of a personal brand sounds like it belongs strictly in the world of social media, but it’s bigger than that. Our personal brand helps guide us in how we work and it allows others to know what to expect when working with us. This can’t be created without first examining ourselves and giving an honest assessment of where we are and where we want to grow. In other words the process of creating a personal brand requires us to know thy self.

This the second piece of our Human Development series.  In this episode John Tuders and Josh Lucas lead a discussion on Relational Intelligence. We talk about why this is an essential skill in  building dynamic relationships and why it is vital to your success in your professional career. Michael Gray, Method’s Head of engineering. Michael brings a wealth of experience with over 20 years as a leader in the technology space. Also joining us will be Cat Carter. At the time of this recording, Cat was a principal strategist at Method and an active member of our Financial Services industry practice. She recently left to pursue her interests in cooking and hospitality and will be opening a restaurant with her partner this fall.  I think it is easy to assume that relationships just naturally happen as a result of work interactions but how strong are those relationships? the truth is, in order to have meaningful connection with the people around you those connections must be nurtured and cultivated.

At Method, we want to help our people grow in their roles and develop their craft but in order to do that successfully it requires interpersonal skills that often go overlooked. In this series John Tuders leads discussions ranging from Filter Quality, Relational Intelligence, Leadership Brand and more.  In this first episode, we discuss the importance of filter quality. You’re going ot hear a few new voices. Dr. John Tuders, our Executive Director of Business and Human Development has over 25 years of experience in the communications and banking industries. He is also a professor at UNCC’s Belk College of Business where he focuses on human behavior within organizations. You will also hear from Jose Ruiz. Jose is a Senior VP at one of the biggest banks in the United States and he brings over 30 years of experience in financial services with a focus in strategy & data analytics. Jose is passionate about helping others grow and advance in  their careers. He is an executive sponsor for an employee network focused on developing Hispanic associates within his organization as well as being involved in non-profit work around the city of Charlotte.   In a world where we are bombarded with countless forms of communications, all jockeying for our time and attention, it becomes harder and harder to determine where we should focus our efforts. Filter quality helps us do exactly that. But it’s a skill that takes time to develop and hopefully this podcast can help you start that process. 

In our third episode of the OK I'm Curious series, Cary sits down with Senior Experience Designer, TJ Edwards. TJ shares how he helps people move past the fear that comes with being told to be creative. As an engineer turned educator turned designer, he's seen creativity in all it various forms and believes that with the right tools and exercises, our fear can melt away.

In this episode of our new series "OK I'm Curious," Cary sits down with  Senior Experience Designer Nam Phuong Doan. Nam has been involved with a number of philanthropic and non-profit organizations. Today's discussion will focus on aligning your personal values with your job. 

OK I'm Curious is a new series of interviews hosted by Principal Architect of Experience Design at Method, Cary Brunsman.  Cary will be sitting down with some of our talented teammates to discuss topics they are interested in that impact how they think about work and interact with one another.  This first episode is with Associate Director of Business Design at Method, Dr Michael Ojo. Michael has spent his career consulting in Strategic Management and Product Development, all while keeping the customer central. Michael and Cary will be discussing humor and the impact it can have on your team and your clients. 

In this episode, we have the pleasure of introducing you to one of the newest members of our team, Global Lead of Healthcare and Life Sciences, Scott Pope. Scott has a deep background in the healthcare space. He began his career as a pharmacist in the hospital setting with a specialization in infectious diseases before shifting his career path to the corporate world, where he helped to launch new business lines in the healthcare industry. He would eventually launch a company focused on helping early-stage healthcare companies make disruptive change.  Scott brings a wealth of knowledge to Method. He will be helping us standup a new healthcare and life sciences vertical that will be targeted at making a meaningful impact in this industry that each of us will undoubtedly need at some point in our lives. 

Josh Lawson is one of my favorite people to spend time with. He brings a great sense of humor to everything he does and a very inquisitive perspective to each discussion he is a part of. Josh took the long way to Method. After college, he took on various jobs that left him wanting more and he was eager to find something that challenged him mentally. So he decided to pursue a career in software engineering. I’ll let him share the details. As for his personal passions; if you are a cat person or you like to nerd out on coffee, Josh is your guy. I think you’ll have fun getting to know him

In this interview, we have the pleasure of introducing you to Executive Director of Growth and Development, John Tuders. John has a rich history in the Financial Services industry and actually began his career working in minor league baseball. He doesn’t know a stranger and he is one of those teammates you want to work with because he always makes you feel like he wants you to succeed more than himself. He’s a natural teacher and a Servant Leader. Usually, we spend a lot of time getting to know our teammates outside of work and we do that here but you’ll quickly see that John is really passionate about leadership development training and building relational capital. We spend a lot of time digging into these topics. In this episode, we have the pleasure of introducing you to Principal Product Strategist, Harshad Parashare. Harshad works out of our Atlanta office and was Jeff Mette’s first hire after opening that location. Harshad has lived all over the world and has had a number of roles with other companies before coming to Method. Aside from being a talented teammate, He has a very unique side business where he brings international theater and music performances to cities in the United States and the UK. In this episode, we talk with Dmitri Love. Dmitri is a senior product strategist at Method. Dmitri has had a very unique road to his current role. He went to college to become a doctor but eventually changed directions and pursued a career in the tech world. That decision would force him to take on a number of new challenges, find new outlets to exercise creative problem-solving skills, and eventually land him a spot on the TV show Shark Tank.   Dmitri is one of our many amazing fully remote employees. He calls Arkansas home and takes advantage of the outdoor lifestyle it provides. I think you'll enjoy getting to know him as we discuss his journey to Method and his many hobbies outside of work.
