According to Google support document, boilerplate content examples are "copyright notices, headers, and footers". Keywords found in these sections of your website are not taken into account when calculating the relevance of a page to a user search request. Nor do duplicate content issues arise when using boilerplate content. This is important to understand for websites that have duplicate terms of service or legalese content on each page of website. The new Twitter dashboard will help you easily engage with your audience by creating a custom feed to find out what is being said about your business.
