The podcast will feature various conversations and stories that will delve into this topic (and others) and tackle (and ask) difficult questions about our pasts and our futures. It will also be a space to discover how, to a certain extent, everything intersects. Or does it?

‘The Thing About Democracy’, the first episode of IT ALL INTERSECTS, was inspired by the Democracy summit which took place from 29 - 30 March. Due to various reasons, people around the world are facing various issues such as food insecurity, human trafficking, corruption and cyber issues amongst others. This raises the question of whether democracy is the best system to deal with these issues. What even is democracy? Is it failing? What can we do to maintain democracy, the system of governance that South Africa relied on to end Apartheid, that the United States of America used to end racial segregation?
