It Gets Good

In today's episode, we are reading one star reviews of some of our recent reads. We did this last year and had fun reading through all the hilarious reviews so we decided to bring it back! Overall we found some really good reviews and tried our best to guess what book they were about. We also had to recap the fantastic F1 weekend in Miami - finally feels like we're back!! For our book club this month, we decided to tackle our first Stephen King novel - 11/22/63. It was a LONG one that dragged in a few parts but overall gave us a lot to think about. Micaela was given permission to skip this month after we quickly realized there was no way she was making it through the 30 hour audiobook. Three years of It Gets Good and we're celebrating with you! In this special anniversary episode, we're diving into your question box responses (favorite episodes, the books we've introduced you to, bookish hot takes, and more) while reminiscing on how far we've come. Plus, we're sharing what's next… and let's just say, it might involve YouTube (we know, we know... we're just as shocked as you.) Next week's episode is our April Book Club: 11/22/63. We'll be chatting about the miniseries on Netflix starring James Franco, too! For today's episode, we're going to change it up and REMOVE books from our neverending TBR. We'll admit it, we did remove some books because of their low rating on goodreads but overall, we took off books that just didn't sound good anymore. It's a little bit of a chaotic episode and even features some actual tears but was still a fun one to record! Amaze, amaze, amaze!!! We FINALLY have a Book Club read that we all LOVED! Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir was not only an amazing book but they managed to make an incredible movie adaptation that we are obsessed with! I think we are all in awe of the fact that we're already done with February!! While it was the shortest month, we all still managed to read some good books! Micaela hung in there with 2, Kyleigh read 8, and Hannah is keeping the podcast afloat with 12. Some of the books were better than others but overall it was a good month.
