You caught me right in the middle of creating version 2 of the Low-key Bodyscapes book. Why is this topic so fascinating? Because when posing for bodyscapes, the model navigates between two extreme poles. On the one hand she is not only nude but even gets into very revealing poses. In the beginning of my photography I thought that I need a fast prime lens in order to make good photos. Furthermore, I would need a lot of photoshop and bunch of other silly tweaks. Nowadays I seldom shoot wider than f/2.8. The photos for my books often don't get retouched at all. Not always ideal, but I don't mind. You?

What payment should you offer your model? Especially for a sexy photo shoot. Today I am answering this question from a couple of different angles. There seems to be a standard going rate that is about $50 per hour. But then again the payment depends on a number of factors. A lot of times a model would be happy with TfP shootings if she really gets benefits from the resulting photos. In this podcast I explore how to actually give her these benefits.
