My week ahead forecast and accompanying video this week mentioned having to identify our places within the group and believing we have more money than we actually do. I suspect Trump is using this “buyout” option to get “disloyal” employees out of the office under the guise of caring about people not wanting to return to the office (when most of corporate America is insisting workers return) after the pandemic. The severance sounds extremely generous to me, so much so that it would be too good to pass up— a big incentive to leave, if you ask me. What could Trump plausibly stand to gain by having a “reduced government?” Could it be that he wants to eliminate the possibility of whistleblowers so he can have carte blanche to do as he wants?
