After we receive Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we receive His Spirit in us. The body and its senses can no longer dominate us since we have His new nature in us. As believers our job is to put to death the body’s desires so that the Spirit can rule and take over!

When one receives their salvation, their confession usually involves accepting Jesus Christ as their “Lord” and “Savior”. Savior is easy to digest as it points to the work of Jesus of cleansing us of our sins. Lord is also a weighty title. It refers to Jesus as our Master! Many receive salvation and are not aware that they are no longer in charge of their own lives. Jesus Christ has to take over as the Master of our new life in Him. The heart is at the center of it all. It is what condemns us and makes us unclean before God. It is also where we receive justification and are cleansed when we receive Jesus Christ. In this episode, we explore the importance of knowing what’s in our hearts and how it’s changed and transformed to be conformed to the image of Jesus Christ.

When we get saved, we receive the Spirit of God in us. He comes to dwell in our earthly vessels, our flesh. Jesus revealed to us that our flesh is weak but our Spirit is not. Because we have a weak link in us, we must constantly examine ourselves so that we do not fall prey to its weaknesses!

Through deception, the devil has led many people astray. Jesus called him the father of lies. His lies have concealed the detrimental effects of sin and the negative consequences of living a life under the devil. In this episode, we explore how we can recognize the devil’s work and walk in discernment at all times!

Do you ever stop to meditate on this fact: God dwells in me! What makes us exceptional and different, is not dependent on anything that is external. It’s all because of who we carry in ourselves. Jesus walked the earth with the full consciousness that God dwelt in Him. He did not live with any of the limitations that we live with. He lived above all human limitations. Today, we are challenged to live in the same consciousness.

In this season of thanksgiving in the US, many are gathering to reflect on the year and share moments of gratitude. As believers, our call is not to reserve thanksgiving to a particular day as it is a part of our daily life. It doesn’t matter what the circumstances around us produce, or whether we have seen our promises come to pass, we must remain in thanksgiving. We thank God for who He is, irrespective of what’s going on in our lives!

Once we receive Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, God starts to work in us. Sometimes we don’t see His work in us because it’s invisible to the human eye. But every spiritual activity that we do is done by Him in us. He gives us desires that align with His will. And then works in us to bring it to pass. Our job is just to yield to His work in us, Hallelujah!

The condition of the human race is viewed differently in the eyes of God. While the world is advancing materialisticaly, many are headed to destruction and do not even realize it. This is why, Jesus Christ was sent to us that we may be saved. In Him, we find salvation and are granted eternal life. In this episode, the process of salvation is explained.

Many people who haven’t taken the time to read the Bible, base their understanding of God on opinions. They think that Christianity is boring, restrictive, and unnecessary. These are all lies from the enemy. When we understand God’s truth, it sets us free. In this episode, a short list of common lies is given and replaced with God’s truth!

Repentance is a heart decision to turn away from sin and turn to God. There is no habit, sin, or weakness of the flesh that cannot be submitted to repentance. Because Christ lives in us, we have His power to dominate any sin. Through repentance, we secure the forgiveness of God and we walk in freedom! Hallelujah!

When God forgives a person, He adds that He remembers the sins no more. But for most people, this a hurdle that becomes impossible to overcome. How could they ever forgive themselves for what they have done? In this episode, we learn how to accept and receive God’s forgiveness. A person who has been forgiven no longer has to deal with shame, guilt and self-condemnation!

When we are tempted to sin, we are so focused on the enjoyment part that we forget the consequences. Sin makes us susceptible to the enemy’s attacks. Without God on our side, we end up in hopeless situations.

There are over 4,000 religions in the world. How does one begin in choosing which religion to belong to? Contrary to religion, God has called us to be in relationship with Him. Pleasing men in religion is not the same thing as pleasing God. In His Word, we learn the truth that sets us free and increases our knowledge on how to please Him.

Addictions have claimed the lives of many women and men. It seems as though it’s a calamity that has no answer and keeps getting worse and worse. For believers, there is hope even in the world of addictions. The Bible tells us that Christ has freed us from the enslaving power of sin. Now we can live above any addiction or bondage. The more a person grows in their salvation, the more their desires change to the point of being freed from any bondage. The person embarks on a journey of transformation where they are perfected on a daily basis.

Our Father desires for us to know Him more than what we can do or offer to Him. Because He is vast and cannot be fully comprehended, knowing Him is a journey that never ends. It requires disciplining the body and its desires to embark on a journey of building intimacy with God.

One can own the most beautiful house, numerous cars, extravagant businesses and afford to buy all things. Without one precious factor, peace, all that they have becomes a burden and can't enjoy it as they should. On a quest to finding the roadmap to peace, they realize that peace is a person. Jesus Christ is the prince of peace, without Him, there will be no peace in a person's heart. He is the One who brings peace in our lives.

The world is still here today because of the mercy of God. Had it not been for His mercy, we would have all been consumed by His wrath. Our sins deserved punishments and eternal condemnation but because of His mercy, we have been saved! Our God is rich in mercy, and He provides us with fresh mercies every morning. Oh how amazing it is to be a recipient of His mercy! I pray that by His mercy, salvation will be given to you and your loved ones and that you will experience the depth of His rich mercy!
