Actually this mix was put together sometime before 2009. This is another mix from many that has resurfaced due to a good friend (Ms. N. Celedon) who some how must have broken into my house and stole these mixes before my hard drive crashed. But I'm actually grateful cause they were all lost mixes until now. It includes music from Green Velvet - LaLaLaLaLa, Roger Sanchez - Turn on The Music, Jonathon Ulysses - Keep on swinging, along with a bunch of personal re-edits, remixes and stuff from old classic house music. I have been wanting to create this mix for so long! This reminds me of my youth going to Weddings, Quince & parties growing up in "the hood" of 26th street. This mix is dedicated to my MOM... This mix was actually featured here on my podcast some time ago. It contains several songs that I remember growing up with. Some songs going back to 1981. The difference is that I never liked the end of the original mix. So I decided to give it a proper ending. Long live Old School House. Ok it took me awhile to get another mix together. Due to some bumps in the road like loosing my entire music collection, LOL Thank you Kenny Jason for helping me replace a huge chunk of it. The Mix is compiled of many of the tracks that I enjoyed listening to as I grew up in Little Village area. You can find tracks like Cajmere's - Brighter Days, George Kranz - Din Daa Daa, Fast Eddie - Hip House, Farley (Feat. Darryl Pandy)- Love Can't Turn Around, Gaucho - Dance Forever just to name a few. I didn't go edit crazy on this mix. I actually let some of the songs play. LOL But stay tune for part 2 of this mix.

Well, It's been close to a year since I "retired". But the crew at Fearless House Dj Ozmosis, Dj MAD & Sweet Pea, convinced me to come out for one night. It was a blast! Well ladies and gentleman, this mix will take you back in time. It was performed @ Zentra Night Club in Chicago... The Mecca of House Music. Play close attention, especially the last few songs of the mix. You want Old School? Only true Old School Cats will remember some of these songs. The mix contains songs like... Funk That, Voo Doo Child, Bango, Mosko Disko, Undercover, Time to Jack, and a true old school song that reminds ME of WCYC back in the day is my last track... "Brainwash". Enjoy~

This mix is what in my eyes started all my creative edits. It was sold back in 2005 or 2006 and was a 2 CD album bearing 4 mixes. The DJ's all from the old radio station 90.5 FM WCYC were Dj Gino Rockin Romo, Dj Luis Segura, Dj Pablo Punkout Gonzalez. We all played the old school music from our days when we were part of the radio station! It was a high selling CD album, in fact we sold out in a matter of months. Never released again due to controversy but, here you can listen to my mix from that album. The quality is not as great as the newly released mixes from today, but the music is sure there to make you, "move yo body!" This includes songs like I'll Be There, Follow Me, I'll House you, Acid Thunder, I want you, You Used to Hold Me, Let the Night Take the Blame, & Single Girl to name a few... Enjoy~
