Final – My Post Partum Story
Episode in
Journey to a Happy Me
This is about as raw as it can get without actually describing the physical byproducts of birthing a child. This is an account of my post part experience where a lot goes wrong. It doesn’t end on the high note, the story that has followed this podcast is the path to the high note. Please share with those who will appreciate it and not with those who won’t. Also be warned that if you are one who is highly susceptible to the power of suggestion and you are currently in your first pregnancy, this may not be the right episode for you to listen to. Please leave your feedback about your experiences, it helps to share and also to know that there is a huge range of birth experiences- not all good, not all bad.

008: A Marriage to Committment
Episode in
Journey to a Happy Me
A marriage to commitment, and some misery rubbernecking:
The notion of marriage and commitment in our culture leaves many doing anything but committing to a singular path or cause. How can we make a commitment and what starts really happening once you do. For instance, is there merit to supporting every charity who solicits you, or is the real treasure to be found in your singular marriage to a single cause that fulfills you. We discuss the audacious commitment to not lower your capacity for the sake of others comfort and really exploring what it is to imagine yourself and your family at their full expression as individuals.
We also follow up with last weeks homework to get five words about your character from colleagues and friends as well as discuss the finer aspects of this weeks guy, the marriage gua.
“To love you must surrender. To surrender, you must choose.”
