As Jesus Christ prepared to go to the cross He spoke to His followers about the things that would come in the last days and He gave them a straight-forward message: Get Ready! Be Focused! I will come again at a time you won't expect. If Jesus were to come today, would you be ready?

There is a sin that is common to both the believer in Christ and unbeliever alike. As an unbeliever, it is the sin that will send you to hell. As a believer in Christ, that one great sin impedes our relationship with God and our prayer life to Him. Psalm 78 gives us a better understanding of this sin and the effects it has on us. 

Have you ever asked God, "When are you going to fix things?" I know I have. It seems there is a lot of bad news these days in the media. It causes us to wonder how long will God allow all of the sickness and unrest and hatred to continue? I hope this study causes us to have a different perspective on God's timetable. Maybe we'll start to understand why God tells us at times to "Wait!"

What does the heart of a true follower of Jesus Christ look like? In our Bible study we'll compare the lives of two of the disciples, Peter and Judas. We'll see the differences as well as the similarities of their lives and learn from them what God wants to see in our lives as true followers of Jesus Christ.

Are you easily distracted? Has the things in this world distracted you from listening to and hearing the voice of God in your life? Our study today is taken from Isaiah 6:1-13. Isaiah was allowing the distractions of life to interfere with his ability to hear and experience God in all his holiness. He found when those distractions were removed he was able to receive a wonderful vision of Almighty God in all His Glory and was also able to receive direction for his life. We must understand that this is what God wants for us! He wants us to put our lives in order by first seeing Him for who He really is; the Creator and Sustainer of all the universe who loves us and cares about us so much that He would sacrifice His own Son so that we can live with Him forever. I hope you can receive a vision of who God truly is through our study today.
