Retained EU law is a distinct category of UK law which was created by the EU Withdrawal Act at the end of the Brexit transition period, based on the EU and EU-derived law that applied to the UK at that time. If enacted in its current form the Bill could radically reshape UK employment law and might remove long-established employment rights and protections.
