Licy Be Poetry

God places dreams inside us, but how do we pursue them? In relationship with Him or in isolation? I personally believe those dreams are to be pursued in the context of an intimate relationship with Jesus. I wrote this spoken word poem to share my heart on the pursuit of a dream that is bigger than ourselves, a dream that has a Kingdom focus and is Christ centred rather than self focused. This is a spoken word poem is written like a prayer, based off Psalms 139. Licy Be shares her heart and incorporates scripture in the writing of this spoken word. This poem takes a faith inspired look at how we perceive beauty and image. The word of God say's you are fearfully and wonderfully made. Beauty redefined based on Gods view of who you are. 

Colours is a spoken word poem addressing racism. I haven’t slept, with thoughts of racism and riots running through my mind. God help, we need change, desperately.
