BLESSED ARE THOSE WHO ARE PERSECUTED

*LIVING SEEDS DEVOTIONALS* (Life Transforming Words) Monday| November 29th| 21 ******************************* *BLESSED ARE THOSE WHO ARE PERSECUTED* Matthew 5:10(KJV) _Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake_ : _For theirs is the kingdom of heaven_ In my early life as a young believer in Christ Several years ago, I saw persecution, it was a close relative whom his father practically sent him out of the house simply because he was propagating the kingdom. This brother went out after series of pleading with the father and intervention from some quarter, he went out and was staying with another friend close to the house where his father stays. Eventually the father got saved and soon became one off and likely men as the apostle. What is the meaning of being persecuted for righteousness sake? What is the implications of being righteous. To be righteous means to be abstained from things that could attract filthiness in our lives. *Those who portraits in their lives this character will be sons of God.* Being such will bring persecution from those of the world who do not understand such life style (Act14:22; Gal 4:29; 2Tim 2:3-10). Several Christian today are being persecuted because they refuse to walk and operate in darkness of this world (1 Pet. 3:14; 4:4). *Jesus' list of people who are blessed, which we know as the Beatitudes, continues to grow* . The word used for blessed can sometimes mean happy. However, in this context, mere feeling is not the point. In fact, some people Jesus mentioned may feel deep unhappiness due to their circumstances (Matthew 5:1–9). Despite hard situations, however, *they are blessed they are doing what is right and will experience eternal good in the kingdom of heaven* . Now Jesus says those persecuted for the *sake of righteousness are blessed,* *and part of the kingdom of heaven* . His early preaching ministry has focused entirely on this kingdom. Both Christ and John the Baptist have called the Jewish people to repent of sin *, to be ready for the kingdom of heaven* (Matthew 3:1–2; 4:17). John made it clear that nobody would be able to enter it simply because they were Jewish. Bearing fruit, being used by God for good, being faithful to God in your choices, these have been described as the signs of those who would enter the kingdom Messiah would bring to earth. The implication here is that those being persecuted have some choice in the matter. In other words, *they did not choose to avoid doing what is right, in order to avoid being harassed or harmed.* *They made a conscious choice to honor God, and to be faithful to Him, despite persecution from those who are unrighteous* . Beloved, what is your righteousness content. Are you still righteousness? Are you still in the world enjoying yourself, Jesus bids to Come. *SHALL WE PRAY* : Father, grant me grace to be righteous in this perverse world of enterprise. *MEDITATION* Matthew 7:1-20 *SURE PROPHECY* I prophecy into your life and destiny, timely Helpers who Gods has sent your way will locate you in Jesus name. *Shalom* : Apostle Thomas Adegbile Senior Pastor Revealed Life Christian Centre Akure, Nigeria 08035868741

BLESSED ARE THE PURE IN HEART

*LIVING SEEDS DEVOTIONALS* (Life Transforming Words) Thursday| November 25th| 21 ********************************* *BLESSED ARE THE PURE IN HEART* Matthew 5:8 (KJV) _Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God._ What does it mean to be pure in heart? What is the biblical implications of being pure in heart. *To be pure in heart means, to have a single-minded commitment to God* , *not double minded distraction.* _Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double minded_ .(James 4:8.) *The purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith* , (1Tim 1:5). _I thank God, whom I serve with a pure conscience, as my forefathers did, as without ceasing I remember you in my prayers night and day_ , (2Tim 1:3). _Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart_ . (2 Tim. 2:22) *The pure in heart are those who do not hold out on God* . The word “pure” carries the idea of simplicity from the root meaning clean, *unmixed, without alloy* . The Greek used “pure” for corn sifted of chaff, carrying the idea of unmixed. A *pure heart is unmixed* , *not holding anything contrary to God’s will.* It *operates with singleness of motive* . The only motive is the singleness of heart to do God’s will. _But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart_ . (Mt 5:28). But let your Yes be Yes, and your No, No. For whatever is more than these is from the evil one. (Mt 5:37) The Implications of this is that for this is that, the pure in heart shall see God. Seeing God here means fellowship with God. This is seeing now in time. *If we commit to unadulterated devotion to knowing God* , *we will fellowship with Him.* One who sees God *is without a divided self, a person of singleness of heart.* *This requires exacting self assessment.* Jesus answered and said to him, _“If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him_ . (Jn 14:23). The direct interpretation probably refers to seeing God in the Messiah. *Those with a single minded heart for God will experience fellowship with Him* . _Purity in heart has to do with integrity of personhood_ . This person operates with unmixed motives. *Purity of heart commits to one purpose* ; *it does not allow any mixture of purpose.* A pure heart and a clean heart are not the same. *God cleansed our hearts when we accepted the finished work on the cross to forgive us of all sin past, present, and future* . However, a pure heart does not allow itself to be diverted by things outside God’s will. It does not concern itself with outside options but with clarity of purpose in pleasing God. In Ps 86:11 _Teach me Your way, O Lord; I will walk in Your truth; Unite my heart to fear Your name_ . You cannot serve two master at a time (Mt 6:24; 1 Co 7:35). Beloved, what is the content of your hearts? What is the dimensions of the purity of your heart.? May the lord grant you a correct heart in Jesus name. *SHALL WE PRAY* : Father in the name of Jesus give me a correct and pure heart, focused on you *MEDITATION* Mathew 7:1-0 *SURE PROPHECY* As God helped Esther in a strange land, the lord will help you where you least expect in Jesus name. Blessed Are The Merciful

*LIVING SEEDS DEVOTIONALS* (Life Transforming Words) Wednesday| November 24th| 21 ********************************** *BLESSED ARE THE MERCIFUL* _Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. Matthew_ 5:7(KJV) What does it mean to be merciful? What is the implications of been merciful? "Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy" (Matthew 5:7). Are those who realize their own spiritual poverty and are merciful to others. They sympathies and have genuine pity on others. They seek to relieve the suffering of others because God has mercy on them in relations to their sin. (Psalm 41:1, Heb 2:17. This is contrary to the legalistically proud who seek to judge, the meek have mercy ( James 2:13). Their mercy will reap mercy from ( Matt. 18:35; Luke 7:27). *Generally, the merciful are those people who are affected by the suffering of others.* *They are affected in a manner that causes them, not only to offer encouragement to one who is experiencing a rough spot in his life, but also to work to lessen his suffering* . The New Unger's Bible Dictionary defines mercy as a form of love determined by the state or condition of its objects. Their state is one of suffering and need, while they may be unworthy or ill deserving. *Mercy is at once the disposition of love respecting such, and the kindly ministry of love for their relief.* " *Mercy is the kind, compassionate treatment of an offender, adversary, prisoner in one's power; compassion where severity is expected, or deserved* . Among its synonyms are leniency, compassion, forgiveness, pity, kindness, tolerance, charity, benevolence, clemency, and forbearance. The primary idea behind mercy is rendering a kindness when harshness or condemnation is expected or even deserved. A merciful person looks beyond the present state of affairs to the potential good that may result from his compassionate handling of the matter. He is willing to forgo the other's punishment, his just deserts, or his own desire for revenge in an attempt to produce good fruit from a bad situation. The nature of God is to be merciful to those He calls. We know that He calls the weak, foolish, and base (I Corinthians 1:26-28), those who are undesirable in society's eyes and guilty of sin in His eyes. He extends great mercy to them, redeeming them from the death penalty and setting them on the path toward eternal life in the Kingdom of God. In doing so, He sets us an example to follow (1peter 2:21)5:7 This should not be the major reason for being kind. It is a promise we can claim whenever we get into a bind. He who enabled us to be kind and generous to others in their need will respond by providing us a helper in our need. Jesus says in Luke 6:38 says, _Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom._ For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you. This is very wonderful motivation for those who believe God's Word, but perhaps there is even greater. Being merciful and kind is evidence that God has given us His Spirit, that the love of God has been shed abroad in our hearts and is producing fruit( Gal 5:22-26). For proof of the importance of passing on God's kindness expressed in His calling, forgiving, giving us His Spirit, and promising we will receive yet more mercy for being merciful, listen to Jesus' words in Matthew 25:34-36, 40 The grace to be compassionate and to be merciful , receive it *SHALL WE PRAY* : Father, grant me grace for merciful. Amen *MEDITATION* Hebrew 4: 16 *SURE PROPHECY* I decree supernatural help your way today in Jesus name. Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst

*LIVING SEEDS DEVOTIONALS* (Life Transforming Words) Monday| November 22nd| 21 ******************************* *BLESSED ARE THEY WHICH DO HUNGER AND THIRST* _Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled_ . Matt 5:6 (KJV). What does it mean to be hunger and thirst for righteousness? What is the biblical implications to be righteous in this modern day. Understanding the fourth beatitude turns on understanding what Jesus meant by righteousness. In ancient Judaism, righteousness meant *to acquit, vindicate, restore to a right relationship* . The righteous are those who maintain right relationships, with God and with the people around them. On the basis of right relationships, those who commit infractions are acquitted of guilt. *Have you received the blessing of being filled with right relationships* ? It flows from meekness (the third beatitude) because we can only form right relationships with others when we cease making all our actions revolve around ourselves. *Do you hunger and thirst for right relationships with God, with your co-workers, with your family, and your community* ? Hunger is a sign of life. We are genuinely hungry for good relationships if we yearn for others for their own sake, not just as snack food for meeting our own needs. If we see that we have God’s grace for this, we will hunger and thirst for right relationships, not only with God, but with the people with whom we work or live. Jesus says that those who have this hunger will find their appetites filled. *It is easy to see the wrongs in our workplaces and to want to do battle to fix them. If we do this, we are hungering and thirsting for righteousness, desiring to see wrongs righted.* The Christian faith has been the source of many of the greatest reforms in the work world, perhaps most notably the abolition of slavery in Great Britain and the United States, and the genesis of the Civil Rights movement. But again, the flow of the beatitudes is important. We don’t take on these battles in our own strength, but only in recognition of our own emptiness, mourning our own unrighteousness, submitting our power to God. *Beloved, Righteousness exalt a nation and sin is a reproach.* Until your righteousness exceed that of the Pharisees and Sadducee, one good requirement for entering the kingdom is to be righteous. *The dimensions of hunger for God determine the dimensions of hunger for righteousness.* Righteousness must become our lifestyle as believers. Being righteous is a characteristic we found in the life and ministries of our lord Jesus Christ. Hunger for righteousness is a functions of the fact that you have a right relationship with the Master. I pray that the Lord will cause more hunger for his presence in your live in Jesus name. *SHALL WE PRAY* : Father in the name of Jesus, create in me more hunger for you. *MEDITATION* Matthew 6:1-10 *SURE PROPHECY* I decree tireless helpers sent to help you this Month to locate you in Jesus name. Blessed are the meek

*LIVING SEEDS DEVOTIONALS* (Life Transforming Words) Saturday| November 20th|21 ********************************* *BLESSED ARE THE MEEK* _Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. Matthew 5:5_ (KJV). What does it mean to be meek? What is the benefit of this be attitude Jesus continues to describe the Beatitudes, sayings about who is blessed and why, especially as it relates to the coming kingdom of heaven. *Now Jesus declares those who are meek to be blessed because they will inherit the earth.* The word meek does not mean weak, though that's how many misinterpret it. The word is best understood as gentleness, or a refusal to take control by brute force or manipulation. Meekness, from a Christian perspective, is about faith. It is about trusting God to win the battle in the end instead of going to extremes to win the battle on our own terms. The concept is often referred to as strength under control, rather than strength seeking control. This is exactly backwards from the world's common understanding. Most believe the world to be controlled by those strong and ambitious enough to take what they want. The world belongs to the rich, the dominant, and the bold. Jesus flips that around. *He declares that the true inheritors of the earth are the meek* . Once again, Jesus' meaning here is in connection to those who have faith in Him. If we belong to the Lord, and if the Lord becomes king of the earth, as the Messiah will, then all those who are His will inherit the earth with Him. *Meekness is not a requirement for becoming a true Christian, but meekness is something which naturally comes from having a saving knowledge of Christ* . It should be said that true meekness takes courage; we must fight with ourselves to trust God's plan and His character. It's hard to be humble and patient when we cannot fully understand how good will win in the end. God told Aaron and Miriam in Numbers 12:3 (Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth.). There are blessing attached to meek. Beloved, how meek are you. May the Lord grant you a gentle heart. Amen *SHALL WE PRAY* Father, give me a gentle heart and humility In Jesus name *MEDITATION* Isaiah 61:1; Psalm, Isaiah 29:19 *SURE PROPHECY* I decree 11th hour miracles into your life and destiny from today in Jesus name. BLESSED ARE THEY THAT MOURN

*LIVING SEEDS DEVOTIONALS* (Life Transforming Words) Friday| November 19th| 21 ******************************* *BLESSED ARE THEY THAT MOURN* _Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. Matthew_ 5:4 (KJV) What does it mean to mourn? What does it mean to be comforted? This mourning has to do with mourning over sin and not over a loss of a person or object. *This is mourning over loss of fellowship with the Lord* . The word for mourn is the strongest word in the Greek for mourning. It is the word used for mourning for the dead. When some one lost his life, people come together to mourn. But in this context mourning is not self pity. *We do not use pity for self as the instrument of forgiveness* . *_Our forgiveness comes from the One who died on the cross for our sins*_ . That is why there is blessedness in conviction over sin. (Romans 10:9-10) *Blessed emphasizes God’s part in forgiveness* . Our comfort does not rest in who we are or even in the act of mourning but in God’s provision. *God provides for us in grace* . *God frees us from the penalty of sin through the death of Christ on the cross* . There remains no barrier between God and man. God forgives us because of who Jesus is and what He did on the cross. *He does not forgive us because of the sincerity or intensity of our mourning* . For they shall be comforted. The comfort here has to do with forgiveness. God directly comforts His people by forgiving their sin (Romans 3:23-26). In the immediate context, all mourning will cease when the King sets up His kingdom because He will pardon the sins of Israel. Comfort, comfort my people, says your God. Speak tenderly to Jerusalem, and cry to her that her warfare is ended, that her iniquity is pardoned, that she has received from the Lord’s hand double for all her sins. (Is 40:1-2). *Those who mourn sense their personal bankruptcy and utilize God’s forgiveness as a tool for them* . What is the blessing attached to those who mourn over the state of their spiritual poverty? *Spiritual poverty comes from conviction of personal sin* . *Those who seek close fellowship with the Lord mourn over their sin by seeing sin the way God sees it* . *They sense their spiritual poverty and unworthiness before God* . Consider how David viewed his adultery with Bathsheba. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise. (Psalm 51:17). God blesses us because we have His forgiveness by the sacrifice of his sons death( Christ) for our sins. In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace........ (Eph 1:7). Beloved, you cannot continue in sins and say grace be abound. May I ask how comfortable are you with that sins in your life. Can you come boldly to the saving grace of the Lord Jesus. Heb 4:16. Mourn now over your sinful life and regain your consciousness over that sins in your life and you will be comforted in Jesus name. *SHALL WE PRAY* : Father, In the name of Jesus, I come to the saving grace of your cleansing blood, help me Lord. *MEDITATION* John 3:1-6 *SURE PROPHECY* I decree into your life and destiny, your exact and expected miracle this month will delivered to you in Jesus name. BLESSED ARE THE POOR IN SPIRIT Matthew 5:3

*LIVING SEEDS DEVOTIONALS* (Life Transforming Words) Thursday| November 18th| 21 ********************************* *BLESSED ARE THE POOR IN SPIRITS* _Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the of heaven_ . Mathew 5:3 We are in a world of spiritual arrogance, spiritual poverty is never in any one's diary. In the fallen world, poverty of spirit may seem to be a hindrance to success and advancement. Apparently, this is an illusion. What does it to be poor in the spirits? The poor in spirit are those who cast themselves on God's grace. Happy are those who are not proud, conceited or arrogant concerning their spiritual relationship with God. One must recognize his humanity, his spiritual poverty and destitution(Romans 7:24-25). One must empty himself of self - reliance and learn to humble himself before God. Those with such an attitude of mind will submit to the kingdom reign of God( Lk 6:20; Isa 61:3). *Those who personally acknowledge their spiritual bankruptcy before God.* The tax collector in the temple, beating his breast and chest by saying, God, be merciful to me, a sinner (Luke 18:9-14). *It is an honest confession that we are sinful and utterly without moral virtues needed to please God* . It is the opposite of arrogance. In its deepest form, *it acknowledges our desperate need for God* . Jesus is declaring that it is a blessing to recognize our need to be filled by God’s grace. *Blessed are those who realize they are spiritually bankrupt, for this realization turns them to God,* without whom they cannot fulfill what they are created to do and be. Much of the rest of the sermon rips away from us the self delusion that we are capable of acquiring a state of blessedness on our own. *It aims to produce in us a genuine poverty of spirit* . What is the practical result of this blessing? If *we are poor in spirit, we are able to bring an honest appraisal of ourselves to our work* . We don't inflate our résumé or boast about our position. We know how difficult it is to work with people who cannot learn, grow, or accept correction because they are trying to maintain an *_inflated picture of themselves_* . So we commit ourselves to honesty about ourselves. Do you remember that even Jesus, when he started working with wood, must have needed guidance and instruction. At the same time, we acknowledge that only with God at work within us can we put Jesus’ teachings into practice on the job (Phil 2:12-13). We seek God’s presence and strength in our lives each day as we live as Christians where we work. For instance, who is likely to be more successful in the long run? A leader who says, Fear not, I can handle anything, just do as I say; or a leader who says, together, we can do it, but everyone will have to perform better than ever before. If there was ever a time when an arrogant, self promoting leader was considered greater than a humble, empowering leader, that time is passing, at least within the best organizations. Beloved, what is the spiritual state of your heart, are you spiritually arrogant or poor. I pray that you will encounter him afresh in Jesus name. *SHALL WE PRAY* : Father, in the name of Jesus, give me a gentle heart, humble, self emptied life. *MEDITATION* Matthew 6: 1-11 *SURE PROPHECY* I prophecy into your life and destiny the unimaginable, the unexpected will happen to your life in the name of Jesus Christ. The Weapons Of Our Warfare

*LIVING SEEDS DEVOTIONALS* (Life Transforming Words) Day:177|Saturday|June 26th| 21 ************************************** *THE WEAPON OF OUR WARFARE* _For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds_ 2Cor 10:5(KJV) In Christiantedom battles are Inevitable to believers, in heaven spiritual battles have been legalised. we live in an environment where wickedness is prevalent (1John 5:19). *There are physical battles as well as there are spiritual battle. The ability to design the dimensions of our battles will determine how we fight, the scripture speaking and said fight a good fight of faith* (Eph 6:12-16). Whatever, battles you are facing is of the lord and not yours. Let Jesus fight your battles. There are differences between wining your battle and wining your war. We are not carrying on a physical war, but the battle for us is no less real. *We need to understand that we are not fighting for material success, earthly power, or social prestige* . We are not even trying to make our enemies look bad. The real issue is the victory or defeat of God's purpose for our lives. We must realize that we have merciless, implacable, and powerful spiritual enemies, so that such things as human cleverness, ingenuity, organizing ability, eloquent arguments, charm, or forcefulness of personality are simply not the answer. Those things may impress men, but they in no way impress demons. Those things are the weapons of carnality, of flesh. The good news is that the Captain of our salvation has already defeated their Goliath. Their leader is defeated, beaten, and the Victor lives in us, lending us His strength and insight. These satanic thoughts or attitudes are designed to affect or alter first our minds and then our behaviors. Satan did this to Eve in the Garden of Eden (Gen 3:1-6). *These wrong reasonings are the key to understanding what Satan is trying to accomplish* . God created humans with the ability to reason, but what line of reason should a Christian follow. *SHALL WE PRAY* : Father in the name of Jesus, fight my battle for me and give victory. *THE BIBLE THROUGH* Psalm 1-9 *MEDITATION* Psalm 35:1-20 *SURE PROPHECY* . The Spirits Of Truth

*LIVING SEEDS DEVOTIONALS* (Life Transforming Words) Day:176|Friday|June 25th |21 ************************************ *THE SPIRITS OF TRUTH* _Even the spirits of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you_ . John 14:17(KJV) Jesus had referred to Himself as “the truth” a few verses earlier (John 14:6) and now the Holy Spirit was called the Spirit of truth. Not only would He indwell the believer permanently, but He is also the Spirit of truth (John 15:26;  16:13). *Jesus had given the corpus of His teaching, but the Spirit would inform the church of God’s truth* . *The Spirit’s major role is to communicate this truth. He is the successive witness to God’s truth to people since Jesus’ departure to heaven.* The Holy Spirit reveals God’s truth (1Cor 2:10-11), inspires it in words (1Cor 2: 12-13), and illumines or makes God’s truth clear (1Cor. 2:14 -16). *Those who are not converted cannot connect to God’s truth because they do not have spiritual life (1Cor 2:14)* . The world represents those who are in system of rebellion  against God. This system cannot accept the truth of God or the Spirit of truth because it is profoundly hostile against Him. Note that Jesus did not say that the world would not receive the Spirit but that it cannot receive Him. Yet this does not mean that there will not be some who will receive Him. It means that those operating under the world system will not be able to accept Him. Whom is in the neuter gender. This does not mean that the Holy Spirit is not a person, but it is simply a grammatical issue because whom agrees with Spirit, which is in the neuter. Elsewhere the masculine gender is used of the Holy Spirit as a person (John 14:26; 15: 26; 16: 7-8; 13-14). The Holy Spirit is invisible to lost people. *The world cannot perceive the Spirit; it cannot grasp how He works in the world. This is especially true when it comes to truth* . The world system begins with man and limits itself to finite knowledge. *The Spirit of truth functions supernaturally* ; it is only through the Spirit that people can break through finite understanding to infinite understanding. The world cannot personally know the activities of the Spirit because it does not have the means of doing so. It is no surprise that the world did not know the Spirit, because it did not know Jesus when He came into the world (John 1:10).It is impossible to become a Christian by operation bootstraps. People want to assume for themselves the right to determine what is true. If man begins with man, he will go no further than man. Finiteness can never find infiniteness. If God is the only infinite being, then man is at the mercy of God to reveal Himself. To use a philosophical term, man is logically at the mercy of God. If truth lies beyond finiteness, then the Holy Spirit must take the initiative to communicate what is real, and man must open his will to it. Beloved, Are you frustrated in the attempt to find God on your own terms, If so, why not let the Holy Spirit speak to you through the Bible. The Bible is God’s revelation about His infinite being and His plan for you. Shalom!!! *SHALL WE PRAY* :Father in the name of Jesus, let the Holy Spirit dwell richly in my life *THE BIBLE THROUGH* Job 41-42 *MEDITATION* John 17:1-20 *SURE PROPHECY* . The Son Of Man be Glorified

LIVING SEEDS DEVOTIONALS (Life Transforming Words) Day:175|Thursday|June 24th| 21 ************************************* THE SON OF MAN BE GLORIFIED. And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified. John 12:23(KJV). Jesus begin to speak in paradoxes concerning his death, resurrection and ascension. This passage chronicles the winding down of Jesus public ministry. Jesus talks about his death, which he refers to as being glorified and lifted up and has a final exchange with the Jewish leaders who are intent on discrediting and killing him. Being glorified (doxazō) seems like a strange way to describe one's death, but we see this idea in the great Suffering as prophecy by prophet Isaiah See, my servant will act wisely; he will be raised and lifted up and highly exalted. (Isaiah 52:13). Jesus seems to use being glorified to refer to his death, resurrection, and ascension. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified (doxazō). (John 7:39b) Only after Jesus was glorified did they realize that these things had been written about him and that they had done these things to him. (John 12:16b). Isaiah said this because he saw Jesus' glory and spoke about him. (John 12:41). To the men on the road to Emmaus, Jesus explained the Scriptures and then said: Did not the Christ have to suffer these things and then enter his glory? (Luke 24:26) It's like us humans to think that suffering and pain are bad, and ease is good. But when do we learn the most. When do we make the greatest strides forward. When we're really struggling. We look back at some of those times and marvel how God has helped us. It's in the afflictions that God's glory shines its brightest (Rom 8:18-19). When a lame man walks. When a man born blind sees, the dead raised back to life, with all these, It's at times like that the Jesus glory peeks out for all to see. And on dark day of the cross, when Jesus says, It is finished, and breathes his last, his glory blazes out once more as the power of Satan and sin are broken, sin is atoned, and men and women are set free. Beloved, Jesus is coming to appear in glory again to glorify his own saints on the last day of our glorification. Will you and I be raptures on the last day. Shalom!!! JESUS OUR HIGH PRIEST

*LIVING SEEDS DEVOTIONALS* (Life Transforming Words) Day:174|Wedneday|June 26th| 21 ************************************** *JESUS OUR HIGH PRIEST* _For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin._ Heb. 4:15(KJV). One of the comforting verse of the scripture that has been comfort to believers is Hebrew 4:15. *It is not surprising that this is one of the most shared verses* . Christians often feel the weight of weakness. *It is comforting to know that Christ was tempted in the same way that we are* . *It is a great comfort to know that in the midst of our struggles we have one that truly understands what it means to be human* . It is also comforting to know that Christ endured the difficulty of temptation and he did it without sin. It is one thing to have someone empathize as a fellow struggler. It is quite another thing to have someone empathize but to do so from the position of a conqueror. It is also worth noting that Hebrews 4:15 provides the meat to a sandwich of exhortation. In Hebrews 4:14 we are told that since we have such a high priest we must hold fast our confession. And in Hebrews 4:16 we are encouraged to confidently draw near the throne of grace. On one side you have a subtle warning that to not hold fast our confession will lead to us rejecting the only fitting high priest to atone for our sins. *And on the other side we have a precious encouragement to boldly enter into the presence of the Lord to receive the grace that has been purchased for us* . Christ is like an immovable doorstop into the throne room of heaven. Grace is always ours. Our High Priest,  Jesus Christ, was trained perfected, as it were for the position He now holds. The Bible says that we will be priests and kings under Him (Rev 5:10). A God being had never experienced life as a human being until the Word became flesh, when He was encompassed with the same kind of frame we are. He then also had a mind that was subject to satan the Devil, if He would allow it. He suffered many things: He went through difficulties and angers. Beloved, always be encouraged in the lord, in that life threatening challenges Jesus is there as your high priest because he has gone through what you are going through now. Remain focus in him. Shalom *SHALL WE PRAY* : Father in the name of Jesus, thank you for the sacrifice paid for me in redemption and thereby becoming my high priest. *THE BIBLE THROUGH* : Job 34-37 *MEDITATION* : Hebrew 1:1-10 *SURE PROPHECY* :. The Judgement of this world

*LIVING SEEDS DEVOTIONALS* (Life Transforming Words) Day:173|Tuesday|June 22nd| 21 ************************************** *THE JUDGEMENT OF THIS WORLD* _Now is the judgement of this world: now shall the Prince of this world be cast out_ John 12:31 (KJV). There was a decisive point coming in the life of Jesus Christ whereby He would draw both Jew and Gentile to Himself, defeat Satan, and pay for the sins of mankind. John used the word ''now'' two times in this verse. The time had come for the Son of Man to be gloried. The word Cast out is the language of violence, of warfare. Jesus is in the business of judgment. The rallying point was when He was lifted up to the cross. The Lord now proceeded to the impact of the cross, that it represents judgment on the world. These Gentiles came at a time of the most significant events in salvation history. The world would be judged for its rejection of Christ. The death of Jesus Christ on the cross was a judgment on the world alone. Because Jesus paid the price for the sin of the world. The world will also judge itself by its actions toward Christ. The judgment is the cross of Christ. That judgment will dispossess the ruler of this world. Jesus death on the cross will strike a fatal blow to Satan. *Jesus would defeat the devil in the power by His death on the cross.* *Satan’s authority over people was conquered by Christ* . He delivered them out of the domain of darkness. The idea here is not that the defeat of the devil would end active evil in the world. The thought is that the devil was decisively condemned by Jesus death on the cross. *The death of Christ finally judged him* . The Holy Spirit will make that fact evident by conviction (John 16:11). *The cross is a symbol of victory in God’s viewpoint* . Satan will go through four dimensions of cast out. He was to be cast out at the cross. He was cast out of heaven to earth previously(Rev 12:10). He will be cast into the bottomless pit.(Rev 20:3). He will be cast into the lake of fire(Rev 20:10). *Christ will reign where Satan is cast out.* (Re 11:15; Rev. 12:9-10). The world is a victim of the deceptions of Satan. People follow demonic delusions that lead them away from the truth in Jesus. *Satan seeks to sponsor unbiblical ideas and false belief systems and ideology, through which he seeks to gain dominance over the individual soul and the human race* . Jesus, however, judged this false religious system on the cross. That was His first act against Satan. The final act is when Jesus casts him into the lake of fire forever. The cross demonstrates what is wrong with the world, its philosophy and values. Jesus will expose what is so bad about this world system. The defeat of the devil at the cross does not mean that the believer will not face temptation to sin again. It simply means that the believer has participated in the death of Jesus so that the devil no longer has authority over him. The devil has been decisively condemned, but believers must deal with the present extant evil in the world. And I pray, this event will not stand against us at the judgement day of the saints. *SHALL WE PRAY* : Father in the name of Jesus, grant me grace to walk in the consciousness if your death and resurrection. *THE BIBLE THROUGH* Job 25-29 *MEDITATION* Revelation 12:1-20 *SURE PROPHECY* . Who is this Son of Man

*LIVING SEEDS DEVOTIONALS* (Life Transforming Words) Day:172|Monday|June 21st| 21 ************************************* *WHO IS THIS SON OF MAN* _The people answered him, We have heard out of the law that Christ abideth for ever_ : and how sayest thou, _The Son of man must be lifted up? who is this Son of man_ ? John 12:34(KJV). A crowd of people was speaking with Jesus in Jerusalem, not long before Passover (John 12:20–22). In this conversation, Jesus has mentioned His impending death, and received a response from heaven, in the form of audible words (John 12:23–28). Some in the crowd dismissed this as thunder, while others ascribed it to an angel (John 12:29). *_Jesus pointed out that these signs were meant for the people as proof they needed to respond_* (John 12:30–31). All people are faced with a certain level of evidence for God (Romans 1:18–20), and the crucifixion of Christ represents the ultimate call that people must either accept or deny (John 12:32–33). Old Testament prophecy looked forward to the Messiah. However, that perspective didn't include a clear separation of time between events. Most people in this crowd expect the Messiah will come and immediately establish a permanent rule on earth. *The question being asked here implies that Jesus words are not falling on completely deaf ears* . Being lifted up, to some, might suggest ascending to heaven, while others might understand the veiled reference to crucifixion. Either way, this implies that Jesus will not be on earth forever. Earlier, Jesus used the title Son of Man for Himself (John 12:23). This is part of the people's confusion, so they ask Jesus to clarify what He means. There is no doubt that He has claimed that phrase, but the people don't understand how that connects to being lifted up. In a sense, they're asking if Jesus means Son of Man in a different way than He's been using it. His answer will flow from prior comments that there's a clear choice between belief and disbelief, and a person's time to make that decision is limited (John 12:35–36). None believing Israel expected a triumphant Messiah, so they questioned whether Jesus could be the Messiah. Daniel 7:13-14 said that the Son of Man would establish an eternal kingdom. It was difficult for these Jews to reconciled conquering Messiah with a dying one. It is important to approach the Bible without biase. Nonbelievers reject Christ because of their biases. These prejudices are of greater value and importance to them than what God has to say explicitly in His Word. *SHALL WE PRAY* :Father in the name of Jesus Christ, I operate in the dynamic faith. *THE BIBLE THROUGH* Job 25-29 *MEDITATION* John 4:1-10 *SURE PROPHECY* . Neither hath this Man Sinned

*LIVING SEEDS DEVOTIONALS* (Life Transforming Words) Day:171|Sunday|June 20th| 21 ************************************** *NEITHER HATH THIS MAN SINNED* _Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents_ : _but that the works of God should be made manifest in him_ . John 9:3(KJV)   several people today, have this erroneous mindset that ones some is afflicted is either the person has committed a sin or suffering from a punishment due to his inadequacy. Not all suffering is due to ones sin or not. Jesus  replied to His disciples’ question in verse 2, about who sinned, this man or his parents. Instead of responding to His disciple’s question about the cause of this man’s blindness, Jesus gave the purpose of his situation. Jesus concern was not to assign blame nor point out who has sinned. His answer was that the man’s blindness was not related to neither his sinning nor his parents. No specific sin caused this blindness. Jesus rejected the idea that our challenges in health and prosperity is the result of whether we sin or not. The man’s blindness was not the result of his sin or his parents’ sin. God does not give His favor strictly on whether we sin or not. Bildad was wrong in his view that only the righteous prosper (Job 8:6). *Sometimes the righteous suffer* . *God has a  providential design behind all suffering* . Jesus redirected the disciples’ focus to the Father’s mission for Him on earth. He shifted the emphasis from the healing of the blind man itself to the purpose of his healing. Jesus did not imply here that the man or his parents never sinned. His words do not contradict the idea that men sin universally (Rom 3:23). Rather, He meant that the blindness was not caused by a specific sin. There is no universal tenet implied in this statement, because it relates to Christ and His ministry on earth. Suffering is an opportunity for God to demonstrate His grace. All our personal sufferings are occasions whereby we can manifest God’s glory in our lives (John 11:4). This is His purpose for us. Our pain is an opportunity to manifest God’s grace on us and through us. God does not always reveal why He does what He does. We can praise Him in any circumstance because of His providential care. God never allows anything to happen to us that does not occasion His glory. God created us for His glory and not that we might be a success in life. If we do not understand this point then we will develop distortions of God’s purpose for our lives. God uses our physical problems to manifest who He is and the dimensions of his mightiness. God showed His glory through the healing of the blind man. The blind man became a testimony when his eyes were healed to all that knew him to be a blind person. If we hold on to the idea that we must be free from trouble and that we must be comfortable in all situations, then we are not living in a real world. This will lead to resentment and hostility against God and others. The proper attitude is to give thanks in everything, not for everything (1The 5:18). This perspective will influence others on how to deal with pain in one’s life (2 Cor 1: 3-11). Beloved, not every ugly situation you are going through is as a result of the sins you committed. Misfortune is not God’s primary will. He works in us through and in our problems, he share in our challenges( Hebrew 4:14-15). Sin and its consequences is due to rebellion again Him. Suffering is a test of our faith. We do not deny or avoid pain because of this. Not all disease can be traced to sin. Some sinful behavior can result in sickness. Neither is the degree of sickness is not always related to sinful behavior (Luke 13:2-5). However, all sin is remotely due to the sin of Adam and Eve. And less remotely, personal sin is sometimes the cause of suffering. God does not give tit for tat in every situation. If our suffering is the direct result of our sin, then it occasions us to receive God’s grace of forgiveness. Thomas Adegbile RLCC AKURE

The Horror of the Cross

*LIVING SEEDS DEVOTIONALS* (Life Transforming Words) Day:170|Saturday|June 19th|21 ************************************** *THE HORROR OF THE CROSS* Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour. Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again. John 12:27-28(KJV) Jesus our lord came to this earth with the destiny of fulfilling the eternal and the mandate of the God. (John 18: 37). *The death of the cross was now at hand, even the disciples couldn't understand fully the purpose of his coming to earth* . The lord Jesus knew since the foundation of the world, that he was the sacrificial lamb( Rev 13:8). He repeated several time that he was going to be crucified for the sins of the world. When he was faced with the reality of death on the cross, a deep agony of death took over him. He pleaded in the garden of Gethsemane saying my father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me( 26:39). *It was God's cup of wrath over sin and the sinner, it caused him great anxiety.* This was the baptism he was distressed about(Luke 12:50). The dressing moment, he talked about frequently. He came to the world because of that moment. All epochs was pointing to it and in the spirits all prophet foresaw ahead (1Peter 1:10-11). *One of the greater sacrificial work of God at all times was consummated at that moment* (Hebrew 9:26). All creatures were focused on that moment that made Satan and his host trembled as it destroyed his last hope of victory. The immeasurable horror which Jesus went through was the physical agony (Psalm 22; 69; Isaiah 53), such as the the agonies of the soul (Isaiah 53:10-11), Which He should drink from was the bitter cup. This very was the most difficult moment which separate the relationship between father and son, and break the cords that binds the relationship of the trinity and this took him to the deepest darkness in his life experience. Behold loneliness came, despised by all and forsaken by his own father simply for your sin and mine. An understandable plea was denied when he shouted Father spare me of this hour. The conflict in the Gethsemane, the physical agonies, the deep darkness, what about dishonour, shame, contempt and mocking, to our lord, it was as if he was been faced with an insurmountable hurdle, all these were some of his reason for his pleading. Save me my father. He surrender totally to the will of the father and he said, the time has come. He knew the word of the scripture which says it pleased the lord to bruise him. It is as if he wanted to say should I now ask the father to relieve me from my responsibility. No I must go through this for this moment that the will of the father will honored (Matt. 26:45-46). Beloved, this was what Jesus went through purposely for our sake and this implies that who ever that didn't accepts this offered is condemned because of the wrath of God that is upon him. *Will you at this look up to that rugged Cross at Calvary where Jesus died, and that precious blood of the begotten son of the father was released to the earth, which cries for the atonement and propitiation of our sins* (Rom. 3:24-26), this happened so that we can be accepted in the beloved. Jesus says come, I will give you rest from all your labours. The hands that were nailed on the cross is still calling and he says come unto me. I pray you will not miss that glorious day in eternity in Jesus name. Shalom!!! SHALL WE PRAY. Father, in the name of Jesus, I confess and accept you as my Lord and saviour, help me not to be carried with the pleasures of life, lost of flesh and the mundane of this perverse generation THE BIBLE THROUGH Job 14-16 MEDITATION John 3:1-17, 36. Life is more than meat

*LIVING SEEDS DEVOTIONALS* (Life Transforming Words) Day:169|Friday|June 18th| 21 ************************************** *LIFE IS MORE THAN MEAT* Therefore I say unto you, take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment. *There is a life that goes beyong just an ordinary meat, life does not constitute in the abundance of mans gathering.* The burden of what to eat and drink should be less boards on us, having God as our provider. Until you start seeing God and trust him for what he alone can do, then your burden on meat will be less on the issue of life. After having touched on tangible things like charitable giving, prayer, fasting, and one's attitude towards possessions, Jesus addressed issues like worry and anxiety and the need to place one's total trust in God for all eventualities of life, For this reason. Jesus told them. *I say to you, do not be worried about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on* . Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing. Do not be anxious! Don't worry! Fear not! Don't be afraid! We have all heard Christ's command not to allow the cares of this world to enter in and choke the Word of truth, crowd out the peace of God in our heart, and cause us to become defeated and unfruitful. But anxiety, worry, fear, and fretting about the smallest thing, seems second nature to each one of us and we all have asked the question. *SHALL WE PRAY* : Father in the name of Jesus, I cast my burden on you *THE BIBLE THROUGH* Job 10-13 *MEDITATION* Matthew 6:1-15 *SURE PROPHECY* . Sweet Fragrance Of Christ -- 2Cor 2:15-16

*LIVING SEEDS DEVOTIONALS* (Life Transforming Words) Day:168|Thursday|June 17th|21 ****************************** *SWEAT FRAGRANCE OF CHRIST* For we are to God a sweet fragrance of Christ, in those who are being saved and in those who are perishing. To the one we are the aroma from death to death, and to the other the aroma from life to life. And who is adequate for these things? 2Cor 2:15-16(KJV). It is God who works in our lives in order to give us victory by the gospel over the powers of darkness. *The Christian is the vessels through whom God propagates the aroma of the gospel of Christ* ( Matt.28:19-20; Mk. 16:15-16. The Greek word here for aroma means ''Osman'' Which refers to a smell that is given off which affects those who smell it. The preaching of the word of God is the aroma that is given off from the life of a Christian. It is a sweet smelling to those who favourably respond to the preaching of the gospel(Col. 1:18; 15:1-4). It is a sweet smelling because the gospel is the opportunity for the sinner to be redeemed from sin. It is an opportunity for freedom for those who have all their lives been subjected to the bondage of man made religion. (Gal 1:5). When the romans soldiers returned from battles, they would burn incense of victory. Some of the captives were set free, while others are executed. The fragrance of their incense meant life to some and death to others. However, the fragrance of the aroma of the Christian manifest that there is life. The gospel is life to those who are under a sentence of condemnation because of sin(Rom 6:3-6). However, to those who reject the gospel, it is sentence to condemnation (Thes 1:7-9; 1Peter 4:17). Beloved, what Paul is saying here is that there no hope for those who do not obey the gospel (Act 4:12; 2The 1:6-9). For those who choose to remain spiritually dead, the preaching of the gospel is the occasion where their spiritual death is manifested. But those who spiritually alive because their searching hearts, the gospel is life, for when they heat, they response (Act 18:9-10 Rom. 9:18; Phil 9:28; 1Peter 2:7). I pray the reflection of the fragrance of Christ will be evident in your life in Jesus name. Shalom!!! *SHALL WE PRAY Father* in the name of Jesus, thank for dieing and reflecting your fragrance over my life. *THE BIBLE THROUGH* Job 7-9. *MEDITATION* John 3:1-16 *SURE PROPHECY* . Bought With A Price

*LIVING SEEDS DEVOTIONALS* (Life Transforming Words) Day:167|Wed|June 16th| 21 ************************************** *BOUGHT WITH A PRICE* _For you have been bought with a price: therefore, glorify God in your body._ 1Cor 6:20 (KJV) Beloved, Not only has God created us but He has redeemed us. We not only belong to the Lord because He formed and fashioned us out of the dust of the earth(Gen. 2:7), but we are His precious possession for a second reason. We have been bought with a price, the precious blood of our Saviour, Jesus Christ, and so we are challenged by Paul to glorify God in our body. *We are not only the Lord's by means of creation, but also because we have been purchased for an enormous price* . We have been redeemed by God from the subtle kingdom of darkness and so God not only created us but He has also purchased us. He owns us because He also loves us( Rom 3:24-25). Christ died for the sins of the whole world so that whosever believes on Him would not perish but have everlasting life(John 3:16-17, 36). And all who trust the Lord Jesus for salvation belong to God by right of creation and by right of ownership(Rom 10:9- 10), for we were bought with a price, redeemed from the pit of hell, by the blood of the Lamb. *The precious blood of the sinless Son of God was shed at Calvary as the purchase price for all who would one day trust in Him as Saviour, and God's ownerships of all believers dates back to that pivotal day in history when Christ cried out with a jubilant shout, It is finished.* We belong to God for we are His own purchased possession, which is a position of great honour and tremendous responsibility. *Our spirit, soul and body belongs to the Lord, for we are no longer slaves to sin, for He paid a high price to buy us back from the slave market of sin. A price is that which is paid for an article, and which, in the view of the seller, is a fair compensation, or a valuable consideration why he should part with it; that is the price paid is as valuable to him as the thing itself would be* . How important therefore is it to glorify God in our actions, attitudes, words and bodies. We can no longer think of our body as our own, thereby following our own selfish fancies, our carnal desires and our worldly lusts, for our body, soul and spirit belongs to the Lord. Our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit(1Cor 3:16), for we are in-dwelt by the Spirit of God and our body belongs to Him. He created us and he purchased us with His own blood. Let us therefore glorify God in all we are and in all we do. The language here is figurative. It does not mean that there was strictly a commercial transaction in the redemption of the church. 1. Christians have been redeemed, recovered to God; 2. This has been done by a valuable consideration. 3. This valuable consideration was the blood of Jesus, used as an atoning sacrifice, an offering, a ransom, which would accomplish the same great ends in maintaining the truth and honor of God. Therefore, may be called, figuratively, the price which was paid. 4. Nothing else could or would have done to this. There was no price which the sinner could pay, no atonement which he could make. 5. As *we are purchased, ransomed, redeemed, we are bound to devote ourself to God only, and to keep his commands, and to flee from a licentious life* . Glorify God, Honor God; live to him; and to please him(Matt. 5:16; John 12:28 17:1). Beloved, God did not only created you he died for you, by shedding his blood and purchased you as his own precious possession. _In your body, Let your entire person be subservient to the glory of God. Live to him; let your life tend to his honor._ *SHALL WE PRAY* Thank You that I have been placed into the kingdom of Your only begotten Son by grace through faith in Him. *THE BIBLE THROUGH* Job 5-8 *MEDITATION* Romans 12:1-3, Matt 5 *SURE PROPHECY* . A wise Master Builder

*LIVING SEEDS DEVOTIONALS* (Life Transforming Words) Day:166|Tuesday|June 15th| 21 ************************************** *A WISE MASTER BUILDER* _According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon_ . 1Corinthian 3:10(KJV). Describing Paul’s work among the Corinthians, begins with a declaration of grace. He knew that his status as a worker in God’s field, or on God’s building, was based on God’s undeserved favor, not on his own deserving or merit. It is an exalted thing to be a fellow worker with God. But God doesn’t choose exalted people to do His work. It isn’t anything in them that makes them worthy to be His worker, it is according to the grace of God. *The design or the plan of the building is from God; all things must be done according to the pattern which he has exhibited* (Hebrew 12:1-2);but the  execution of this plan was entrusted chiefly to Paul; he was the wise or experienced architect which God used in order to lay the foundation; to ascertain the essential and immutable doctrines of the Gospel those alone which came from God, and which alone he would bless to the salvation of mankind. Let each one take heed how he builds on it. There is only one foundation for the church. If it isn’t founded on Jesus Christ, it isn’t a church at all. So one can’t build on any other foundation; but one can build unworthily on the one foundation. Each one’s work will become clear, God will test the building work of all His fellow workers, so each one’s work will become clear. Some build with precious things like gold, silver, precious stones; others build with unworthy materials like wood, hay, and straw. Let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. Let him take care that the doctrines which he preaches be answerable to those which I have preached; let him also take heed that he enjoin no other practice than that which is suitable to the doctrine, and in every sense accords with it. I pray you will be a master builder in the vineyards of God in Jesus name. TREASURE IN EARTHEN VESSELS

*LIVING SEEDS DEVOTIONALS* (Life Transforming Words) Day:165|Monday|June 14th| 21 ************************************** *TREASURE IN EARTHEN VESSELS* _But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us_ . 2 Corin 4:7(KJV). 2Timothy 2:20 refers to the vast collection of jars, pots and similar objects that rich people had in their houses. Some of these were gold or silver, others were of wood or clay. *Clay is a kind of earth that people bake to make cheap pots* . Rich people needed these objects in order to store the things that they had bought. Of course, they would choose a gold or silver jar to store a very precious thing. Cheap pots were for the cheapest things. Such pots were not beautiful and they broke very easily. In 2 Corinthians 4:7, the idea of a pot that someone makes from the earth interested Paul. Genesis 2:7 says that God made the first man from the earth. Genesis 3:19 says that, at death, the human body returns to the earth. Like a cheap clay pot, the human body is very weak. Paul had suffered much. He understood how weak he really was. *Christ is present in the lives of God’s people.* Paul compared that fact to a very precious object, as Jesus did in (Matt 13:44-46). *Then Paul said that God has done something extraordinary. God has placed Christ in the hearts of his people* . He is precious, but they are weak, like clay pots. Paul compared themselves to the church and to one another. He confesses his humanity and thus his frailty by referring to himself and others as pot made of clay (2Cor 5:1). The value of the pot is not the pot itself, but in what it contains. It is the power of the gospel that is important. *The gospel is exemplified by the fragile nature of the earthen pot who is the medium through whom it is proclaimed* . It was because of the grace of God that the gospel was entrusted to the hands human messenger as He whose strength was limited by their humanity (Judg 7:2,1; Col. 2:5). Due to the power of God, the messengers of God went forth with power regardless of their human fallibility. *God has a purpose for everything that he does. Therefore, there is a reason why God’s power works through weak people* . It is so that other people can clearly see the power and greatness of God. If God only used powerful and impressive people, then other people would give honour to them, and not to God. However when God shows his power through weak people, he alone receives the honour. And I pray we will become a useful vessel in the hand of God in Jesus name. *SHALL WE PRAY* : Father in the name of Jesus, thank for entrusting the gospel into my care thereby operating the dynamics of your spirit in me. *THE BIBLE THROUGH* Esther 8-10 *MEDITATION* Ezekiel 37 *SURE PROPHECY* : I stand against every evil prophecy spoken against your life and destiny from today they will never come to pass(Isaiah 7:7) in the name of Jesus Christ.
