Practice - Pitta Balancing Hatha with Angela

Welcome to the Live Your Yoga Podcast. This episode features a guided audio practice with one of our faculty members. It is offered as an audio only experience, allowing you to engage with the practice without the need to watch a screen and to meet the practice in a way that works for you. Calm and soothe the heat in your mind and body with Angela in this Pitta pacifying Hatha class. Pitta is the hot, fiery, powerful energy in the body and mind. When aggravated, it may leave you feeling irritable, intense, or overheated. Begin with a calming meditation, move into a cooling and soothing breathing practice, and flow through gentle, mindful movements designed to create steadiness and ease. This class was filmed outside on a warm summer evening in the beautiful south of France. As you practice, you will hear the natural sounds of the wind moving through the trees, birds in the distance, and the soft ambience of nature around you, adding an extra layer of tranquility to your experience. Welcome to the Live Your Yoga Podcast! Today’s episode is a special one as Joanna is joined by Kris to reflect on ten years of teaching yoga since completing their 200-hour training with Your Yoga Flow in Whistler, BC.
