M-CHS Drama Radio - Gunsmoke - The Birth of a Lege

This episode was produced as a final project by my advanced theatre class.  It was directed and edited by Joseph Tevault, with additional editing by Roman Winslow.  It stars Joseph Tevault, Koral Jackson, Nicholaus Sandner, Emmie Beckler, and Lynsey Walrod.  All foley sound effects were designed and recorded by the class.  We hope you enjoy!

This comedy classic first aired on New Years Eve, 1947.  M-CHS Drama enjoyed recreating the quirky characters, the Maxwell House Coffee commercials, and even the laugh tracks of this episode of one of the finest comedy duos to ever grace the radio waves (pun intended).  We hope you enjoy!

Originally aired in 1947, this Christmas classic is recreated by the M-CHS Drama Dept, while doing school online due to COVID.  This one was a bit more challenging since we couldn't be together in person to record, but we were excited to spread some Christmas spirit!  We at M-CHS Drama believe in Santa Claus!

Wells.  On October 30, 1938, Orson Welles and the Mercury Theatre on the Air produced a broadcast that would go down in history because of the mass panic it caused among its audiences.  M-CHS Drama radio has taken on the challenge of writing our own adaptation of the classic broadcast, modernizing it and bringing it closer to home.
