S1 + Ep.11 :: Kristi Hayes of KHop Fit :: Manifest Collab Podcast

S1 + Ep.11 Kristi Hayes of KHop Fit Manifest Collab Podcast When Watching the Olympics Makes You Wonder if You Should Get Up Off the Couch Kristi Hayes is the owner and founder of KHOP FIT, a business that teaches others how to journey to health and wholeness through the avenue of nutrition and fitness. KHOP FIT started in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and is now based in St. Louis, Missouri. Kristi is a certified personal trainer and Level 1 Crossfit Trainer. On any given day, you will find her walking on her hands with her kids, challenging others to do what they think wasn’t possible in her garage gym, or re-decorating multiple rooms in her house. KHOP FIT organically formed when her workout team named their workouts in Kristi's garage/backyard, K’s House of Pain.  Kristi likes to say that the P is for Purpose, Potential, Pull-ups and that there’s always purpose with the Pain - which is a good lesson in life as well. Prior to becoming a fitness and mindset coach, Kristi played college basketball, worked with several churches and non-profits, worked in DC as a lobbyist on Capitol Hill and was the founder and CEO of Wiseabe, a for profit company that helped send students to college in impoverished countries. Kristi uses fitness as the connecting point to bring WHOLENESS in all areas of her teams' lives. By empowering men and women to be disciplined in fitness, nutrition, and care of their soul, Kristi utilizes her past role as a former basektball coach.  Her current focus is to create multiple micro teams that may contain people who all have different individual goals, but each person is invested in helping the others accomplish their next goals. Kristi coaches her teams to "CELEBRATE WHOLENESS TOGETHER."  This episode is a great fit for folks who are coaching themselves, their team, their staff, their corporate culture through a mindset change. Kristi applies the tools we all need for a mindset change and applies it to helping clients with body image. What mindset change do you need? You will be able to convert Kristi's approach to your situation right away. Overheard in this Episode  "Discipline breeds discipline. Starting discipline in one area makes you more disciplined in others." click to tweet "A good coach figures out her players." click to tweet "It is such a brave thing to just show up." click to tweet "There is sacred in the simple." click to tweet   Show notes and clickable links always available over at www.manifestcollab.com About your host: Kari Sowers, IP Attorney and Consultant for Creatives and Companies @KariSowers on Twitter and Instagram   About MANIFEST Collab + Create: www.manifestcollab.com @manifestcollab on Instagram Manifest Collab + Create on Facebook

Episode 009 :: Sarah Harmeyer of Neighbor's Table :: Manifest Collab Podcast

Sarah Harmeyer of Neighbor's Table joins us to talk about building something tangible to create something intangible - in her case, craftsman tables that allow folks to build connections with their neighbors. Neighbor's Table has allowed Sarah to hone her love of making people feel welcome, important and celebrated. Already featured on HGTV and popping up in backyards across America, Neighbor's Table is a "love mission" that has connected Sarah with people who desire to connect and celebrate others, but need a little nudge in the right direction. From helping friends throw approachable parties, to making great introductions to pulling the quiet ones into the conversation - this episode is a must listen for those of us who like to or need to pull together a team. After listening to this episode, you will be ready for your next toast, welcome speech or hosting duties and pull it off with ease. How do you prioritize all the things? Jenna Worthen went in deep to research and create a new beautiful efficiency system. Jenna's main gig is political and nonprofit fundraising and consulting. She searched high and low for a simple, striking, efficiency tool that would work for her clients and most importantly for her. A confessed, recovering work-a-holic Jenna has a lot of irons in the fire and needed a way to manage inflow, priorities and outflow. Voila, her new company and creation: The Taskkeeper. In this episode Jenna takes us on the ride from deciding to launch a new company, hitting potholes and finally crossing to the other side with The Taskkeeper steno line and a manifesto for "beautiful efficiency." This episode is exactly what you need if you can see a solution that should exist, but doesn't. His clothing line is highly sought after across North America and GRPFLY is a staple in the underground hiphop scene. In addition to being the mastermind behind GRPFLY, Vernon is a graphic designer, CEO, speaker and youth advocate.  Vernon and I talk about selecting collaboration partners for a new line or campaign;  giving opportunities to those up and coming in your field;  the power of mentoring.   Our internet connection wasn't the greatest for some parts of our interview, but Vernon's wisdom is rather inspiring so, we've served up some clips for you to hear his approach in his own words. Episode 007 :: Logan Wolfram Author of Curious Faith, Creator of The Curious Living Summit :: Manifest Collab Podcast

Sometimes good opportunities, inquiries and projects start coming your way so fast that your "yes" agreements become too much for your brain, your body, your life and your family. Maybe you need to step back and focus on just a few hallmark projects and some self care to reboot for the next round. Author, conference CEO and connector Logan Wolfram learned that lesson the hard way.  Listen in to learn how you can follow Logan's lead and make 2016 way more zen than 2015. Mixed in with some big laughs, Logan tells us about what happened when she took her own advice about slowing down and rebooting curious adventure - for one thing, she ended up in a quilting class. By tackling fewer projects, she opened a new creative path for her first online summit: The Curious Living Summit, which had a smashing launch this summer.   Show notes and clickable links available over at www.manifestcollab.com About your host: Kari Sowers, IP Attorney and Consultant for Creatives and Companies @KariSowers on Twitter and Instagram   About MANIFEST Collab + Create:   www.manifestcollab.com @manifestcollab on Instagram Manifest Collab + Create on Facebook Sign up for our e-mail list and get the goods delivered right to your inbox - click HERE
