Greetings once again fellas, this month's episode is a special birthday mix recorded from our crop of archived 12" Records. 70 minutes of glass breaking and exhilarating tunes for you to enjoy. The mix was inspired by a Vinyl Frontier mix composed by Funk Deepstar in 2007 for 5fm. Recorded in the wee hours of the morning, and yours truly sat there closely watching as Funk was doing his wizards on the desk. That's when Master Ryken told him that one day he will compose something similar. It's been seven years since then but hey, our music is timeless and stands the test of time. It's been a while since the release of an in-house tape. But thanks to our affiliates DJ Moloko (DOD Session) and Carld Deep HD (One Night Affair Session) for keeping the fire burning with the guest tapes they made for us. We are delivering here our 19th Episode, dedicated to the Loving Memory of one of our friend and supporter Dukez. His support from our very first episode has managed to keep us going. Born Mokgadi Moloko Mabela in Soweto and raised in Polokwane; Moloko is a driven, ambitious Disk Jockey and Radio Presenter on Unisa Radio. From a family of very outspoken individuals, the fascination of radio and tv’s ability to capture listeners and audiences worldwide made Moloko always know she wanted to talk and entertain for a living. In 2008 DJ Moloko met Victor “SuckaV” Ledwaba; a passionate music lover, DJ and sound guru who introduced to a whole new world of music, events and artists. It was then that Moloko realised that her passion was within reach. 2010 availed an opportunity to learn how to DJ at the Fabulush DJ Academy. With the talented 5fm featured DJ Lindi Lush as a mentor, Moloko fast learnt how to get her way around the decks and has not looked back since. Moloko is inspired by various unique aspects that different artists offer to the global industry, especially smart workers who are able to turn their love for the arts into sustainable careers. In her spare time, Moloko enjoys travelling and reading a good book. But having played in and around most (if not all) Pretoria and Joburg's best clubs, she is widely known as a Club Disk Jockey and enjoys playing Electro and Deep/Soulful House music. The name Deeper Bus was inspired by people/Fans that used to listen to his mixtapes, they liked the kind of music he played then the name Deeper Bus was born.
